Peanut butter and lettuce sandwich. Dunno if I’m the only one who’s ever tried it, but I like one every so often. Pickle is an acceptable substitute for lettuce.
Cottage cheese and salsa. Costco brand salsa preferred. Eat right out of the bowl with a spoon, or sit down with a bag of tortilla chips. It’s diverse.
Moose meat sliced very thin browned in fry pan then add water to make very thin gravy—basically pan drippings. Ladled over oatmeal and brown sugar—it’s a local thing but it is delicious.

I'll eat peanut butter, Miracle Whip and sliced cheese sandwiches once in a while.
My grandfather's weekend breakfast was 2 eggs sunny side up with ketchup, mustard and lots of homegrown horseradish, washed down with a banana that was black on the outside.
Place out the road offers pickles as a topping on the pizza. Pretty good, beats the living hell outta pineapple!😀 Onions and Swiss cheese between 2 slices of bread makes a pretty good sandwich. Penny always makes a hole in her mashed potatoes and fills it with corn. That must be a Fulton County thing. I never seen anybody in Bedford do it.😀 Heard Elvis liked peanut butter and potato chips on a sandwich. Sounds good, but I never tried it. Reon
Ketchup was a necessity with my grandma's cooking.
Loved her dearly but damn, she was a terrible cook
I really like ketchup....and I grew up with amazing cooks.
Today's squeeze bottle ketchups are a pleasure to use compared to the giant glass bottle of IGA catsup we used to get. Damn bottle had a 10 foot long neck that was .000350 inches in diameter.

I forgot about those glass ketchup bottles!
Seemed like no matter what ya did they got all crusty
Cottage cheese, salsa and varying levels of hot sauce are nearly a staple in our house. Scooped onto a tortilla or potato chip, or to top a baked potato.
I like hot fresh baked biscuits, with a couple of slices of crispy bacon inside, then dip them in a mixture of half peanut butter and half Karo syrup for breakfast. Sometimes even with scrambled eggs. 🤠
My paternal grandma! I do believe that woman would eat anything! DO NOT bring a squirrel in her house that had the head removed! She ate the tongue, cheeks and brain. Lost one gf because she dipped up a helping of grandma's squirrel and dumplings and had a squirrel head staring at her! 🤯 Grandma would only eat raisins with seeds. Chicken feet. Chitlings. Headcheese. Black pepper on her cantaloupe.
I don't eat much weird stuff. Guess I'm relatively normal. (?) I like to mix my creamed corn and blackeyed peas. Used to like bacon crumbled up in my "Alpha-bit" cereal.
Actually, as far as I'm concerned, serve me in a bowl instead of a plate. I'll mix it all together and happily devour it!

My dad's favorite sandwich in his lunch pail during his working life was peanut butter, bologna, and lettuce. I tried it a few times and it was very good.
Lasagna or spaghetti with thousand Island dressing. Sometimes sour cream. Salt and pepper on watermelon. Probably others that struck my fancy at the moment. Working on changing eating lifestyle so most sauces including ketchup ( a favorite) have been cut out. Wife jist made meatballs with pork rinds for a binder. Ketchup would have been a nice dip
My Dad doted on ham and grape jelly sandwiches. It sounds odd until you think about honey-baked ham and then the sweet/salty combo makes perfect sense. Oh, it's darn good, too.
I sprinkle Tajin Mexican spice on my cottage cheese with tomato chunks. Lovely little kick.
Hot sauce on potato salad is just a leap up from ketchup on fries. Try it.

I use grape jelly on a ham when I roast it. A buddy uses orange marmalade.
