A couple on my short list:

Peanut butter and lettuce sandwich. Dunno if I’m the only one who’s ever tried it, but I like one every so often. Pickle is an acceptable substitute for lettuce.

Cottage cheese and salsa. Costco brand salsa preferred. Eat right out of the bowl with a spoon, or sit down with a bag of tortilla chips. It’s diverse.

What else.

Moose meat sliced very thin browned in fry pan then add water to make very thin gravy—basically pan drippings. Ladled over oatmeal and brown sugar—it’s a local thing but it is delicious.

Pickled pimento and cream cheese sandwich.
St Elmo spicy cocktail sauce on cottage cheese

Peanut butter and bacon sandwich

For years he smoked cheap cigars, in the house and car, and let them smolder in the ashtray. Maybe it was to cover up other smells?

I had forgotten that as a kid I used to eat ham and peanut butter sandwiches.
Posted By: bpas105 Re: Oddball food combos - 03/23/24
I'll eat peanut butter, Miracle Whip and sliced cheese sandwiches once in a while.

My grandfather's weekend breakfast was 2 eggs sunny side up with ketchup, mustard and lots of homegrown horseradish, washed down with a banana that was black on the outside.

Franks buffalo wing red hot on cottage cheese
Sharp cheddar cheese and OJ .

Place out the road offers pickles as a topping on the pizza. Pretty good, beats the living hell outta pineapple!😀
Onions and Swiss cheese between 2 slices of bread makes a pretty good sandwich.
Penny always makes a hole in her mashed potatoes and fills it with corn. That must be a Fulton County thing. I never seen anybody in Bedford do it.😀
Heard Elvis liked peanut butter and potato chips on a sandwich. Sounds good, but I never tried it.

Sharp cheddar and Heinz 57 sauce.

Cottage cheese and ketchup.

Potato chips and baked beans.

Dill pickle chips with three dots of ketchup on each.

I really like ketchup....and I grew up with amazing cooks.

Today's squeeze bottle ketchups are a pleasure to use compared to the giant glass bottle of IGA catsup we used to get.
Damn bottle had a 10 foot long neck that was .000350 inches in diameter.

Heinz when it came to ketchup.

Now I get the Simply Heinz, seems less sweet

Don’t make a fuqk what brand ketchup it’s all good ranch dressing is a issue
Plain Cape Cod chips, blue cheese crumbles, diced onion. Nuke until cheese melts. Sounds odd, thank me later.

The glass catsup bottles of my youth don't even show up on the internet.

They didn't look anything like a Heinz bottle at the cafe.

They had a long skinny straight neck and a huge cylindrical bottom.

Must have held a quart or better of the finest store brand your mom would buy.

I remember going to the IGA and they would take your picture and print you out an ID card in case you got lost.

Anyone remember that?

Peanut butter and Miracle Whip sandwich.

Peanut butter on a baloney slice rolled up.

Honey on dill pickles. Learned from a Czech doctor who used to live in the neighborhood.

Peanut butter and honey sandwich dunked in ice-cold milk.

Peanut butter on prunes. Makes a good wrap as well.

Potato chips on a bologna sandwich.
My dad would mix grape jelly in his scrambled eggs. It’s actually not bad!

Good stuff ! 👍🏻

I like hot fresh baked biscuits, with a couple of slices of crispy bacon inside, then dip them in a mixture of half peanut butter and half Karo syrup for breakfast.
Sometimes even with scrambled eggs. 🤠

My paternal grandma! I do believe that woman would eat anything!
DO NOT bring a squirrel in her house that had the head removed! She ate the tongue, cheeks and brain.
Lost one gf because she dipped up a helping of grandma's squirrel and dumplings and had a squirrel head staring at her! 🤯
Grandma would only eat raisins with seeds.
Chicken feet.
Chitlings.
Headcheese.
Black pepper on her cantaloupe.

I don't eat much weird stuff. Guess I'm relatively normal. (?)
I like to mix my creamed corn and blackeyed peas. Used to like bacon crumbled up in my "Alpha-bit" cereal.

Actually, as far as I'm concerned, serve me in a bowl instead of a plate. I'll mix it all together and happily devour it!

Lasagna or spaghetti with thousand Island dressing. Sometimes sour cream. Salt and pepper on watermelon.
Probably others that struck my fancy at the moment. Working on changing eating lifestyle so most sauces including ketchup ( a favorite) have been cut out.
Wife jist made meatballs with pork rinds for a binder. Ketchup would have been a nice dip

I used to love french fries dipped in a chocolate sundae. I had a girlfriend that added catsup first.

The most sophisticated chick I ever knew, she ran PR at the local art museum, turned me on to dark mustard on fried potatoes.

Russian salad dressing used like barbeque sauce, poured into a crockpot with a big deer roast is excellent.

When I smoke a turkey, I inject a combination of grape jelly, lemonade, butter and curry powder. Yum.

My Dad doted on ham and grape jelly sandwiches. It sounds odd until you think about honey-baked ham and then the sweet/salty combo makes perfect sense. Oh, it's darn good, too.

I sprinkle Tajin Mexican spice on my cottage cheese with tomato chunks. Lovely little kick.

Hot sauce on potato salad is just a leap up from ketchup on fries. Try it.

But ketchup on hash browns for breakfast, Can’t do it…..

Shredded or sliced, dinner or breakfest, it’s a Potato for Gawds sake, Same Same you would think,

Nope, Not happening.

Ketchup on a hot biscuit, No, just hell no. Maybe Jelly if I’m feeling frisky.

But Apple butter, solid possibility.
