I have to say, as a kid that grew up in the 80’s, knowing what to do if your Dad was captured by the Libyans was pretty important stuff.

That and kicking Richard Gere in the balls will be the two things I’ll always remember him for.

My favorite Louis Gossett Jr movie is "Diggstown" with James Woods and Bruce Dern - great cast, good flick!
