Damn.

North Carolina carjacking suspect faces murder charges after police say he mowed down a good Samaritan who helped thwart a carjacking attempt and died after opening fire on the suspect, who stole the victim's work truck instead before fleeing the scene in eyewitness video taken outside a Burger King restaurant.

I wish we could post x videos directly
I was sent the video with no explanation this morning. Man, horrible deal.
Wow.
Trial? WTH...
Did dead guy shoot at the carjacker?

This why you have to stay fit. That poor fella could barely get out of his own way, let alone that work pickup. Sad deal. Shìthead should fry.
I saw that video yesterday or the day before and I wondered how he missed from point blank range? The left will spin this to push for more infringement on the 2A.
It wasn't a "good samaritan", it was his own truck.
WTF was he shooting, 4 shots close range, bad guy drives away?

Sad deal for the guys family, hope the jacker gets max !!
There sure does look to be a lot of odd stuff going on in that video.

How the hell does Tiny manage to miss the bad guy from 42”?
The truck window looks to be up and it doesn’t look like the window even took an impact. (?)
I saw the video, the victim fired a half dozen rounds literally at point blank range through the drivers window before the killer backed away quickly then came forward extremely fast.
I wonder if he was shooting blanks or something even zoomed in I can not see any bullet impacts or glass breaking
Zero self/situational awareness from the victim.
Seems like missing under stress at point-blank range is common. We see this most often with Cops but that’s prob’ly because their failures get reported on body cams/news media etc. I’d guess bad guys miss at a similar rate. Lack of training/muscle memory?

As for the victim here, wasn’t his last act warning others to get out of the way?

So he had enough situational awareness for that. That truck came in so fast you’d have to be an all-pro running back to reliably dive out of the way.

Me? I wouldn’t try to shoot a guy for stealing my truck. Other’s MMV.
Not good
This whole thing was a mess from top to bottom.

Hope the crook fries.
Video is gone.
I saw the video this morning.

Moral of the story, never turn your back on someone you just tried to shoot until the rigor mortis sets in...

I don't wish that at all. Future hijacker wannabes will remember it more if this guy just disappears in the middle of the night, and what is found of him are just little bitty blood covered pieces in a county dump.....

Guess he just ran off and committed suicide instead of facing the music.... by throwing himself into a large wood chipper.
Carjacking victim was stabbed to death ~ 90 miles north of here, Sun morning.
Perp made a high speed turn around through Love's parking lot, almost hit me. Got on I-25 southbound with 2 State Patrolmen on his butt.
Around 30 minutes later, He comes northbound,at high speed, passes us (we're on the frontage road, he's on the interstate), with 2 cops in pursuit. Once he cleared traffic, one cop PITed him, he climbed out and was arrested.
The whole story began in Aurora, CO - over 300 miles away. He carjacked a car there, came south, carjacked someone else, who he stabbed and killed, went (probably) a few miles south of Las Vegas, turned around, and got caught going back north.
Too bad he survived!
BTW PIT maneuvers stir up one hell of a lot of dirt!
Sad that he'll probably be kept alive for 30+ years, at our expense!
This one?
