I got the following from my daughter. It all seems to be legitimate. If you go to this animal rescue site and click on the purple box in the middle of the page, your click will count towards food donated for the animals. You can go and click once a day. Apparently the site's sponsors donate food according to the number of clicks.

Penny, you know what a pushover I am. I've strongly considered building an animal rescue here at the house. I have the room for it but I know that I would get so attached to them I never would let them be adopted. I'm a pretty sad case.....
