Was watching Fox tonight and Gingrich was speaking and made refrence to Roosevelt's D-day prayer. While looking for it on youtube, I stumbled across an old German propaganda film giving the German spin on D-day. Sort of interesting so I thought I would put it up.

D-day the German account.
That was cool as all get out.

But sobering to reflect how many dead men walking were in that film.
Very interesting seeing the German side of the war. My MIL was a child during the war living in Southern Germany in the town of Ulm. She'll talk about it now and then, food was scarce and other supplies also. Her father was MIA on the Russian front.

She remembers her town being firebombed at night by the British. She tells of her mother wrapping the two children in a wet blanket and fleeing their home due to the fire and smoke.

My BIL, (who resides in Germany), wife's father was a POW in Mid. TN. at Camp Forrest, later Arnold AFB. He didn't want to go back to Germany after the war, he liked America. His unit surrendered, it was either to the Americans or to the Russians, they knew the Russians would kill them.

Canadian fellow I knew was at D-Day as a 'second' on a Bren gun and was captured. He told me he was given the option of fighting the Russians or working and he wound up working in a mine in Czechoslovakia.
almost appears that MSNBC helped make the video.

Imagine if they had photoshop.
No, MSNBC did not make that film, but they do adhere to the contents and the propaganda is still used today by the democrats. ARBEIT macht Frei..
