I couldn't find this after searching the campfire. Apologies if I missed it. RCBS said they haven't had time to compile the 2008 list yet.

Attached (zipped) is their 2007 PDF file and 2003-2007 transcribed in spreadsheet format.

Examining the data makes me wonder what effect (if any) the articles written by our gun scribes has on the numbers. ;-) Maybe none, but it would be interesting to compile a list of articles by caliber published during that period to see if there is any coorelation.

.325 WSM is 39th! Woo Hoo!

:-)
as a measure of cartridge popularity, these lists will always skew toward the newer rounds, since its pretty hard to wear out a set of dies in non-commercial use.
Really. That's only 14 places behind the ever popular 6.5x55. smile
Best I can figure, the ONLY two rounds in the top 25 that were introduced in the last 10 years are the 300 WSM and the 204. So much for new rounds selling a lot of dies... FWIW, Dutch.

Wow 204 Ruger is HOT!!!

And looky looky.. Old Mule Deer must be having some effect because I see the 9.3x62 on the list...

Huh,

Spot
I thought of JB too, re the 93.x62.

Seems a 7x57 article appears every couple months. Surprised it's not fairing better. Same for the Bob.

There's been many "308 is great" articles the last couple years and it's up a couple notches.

One things for sure, the 30-06 keeps on truckin'!

Bastards have no Taste, either that or all of you have forgotten the Mighty 250 Savage. grin But I'm biased. Les
BREAKFREE sales are up Les. That shows there are plenty 99 fans still out there!
Damn, that almost hurts. grin

Kinda surprised to see the .243 Wizzum so high on the list.
How many of the "top 20" do you load for? I'm kind of shocked at how many of those I load for.
Thanks, I was looking for that info a while back. Hope I don't forget where I saved it this time.
Load for the top 9 but only 14 of the 2007 list in total. I load for 38 chambering IIRC.

Glad to see the Triple Duece still there.
Interesting. Thanks for posting.
I am loading for 7 of the top 10, 9 of the top 15, and 12 of the top 25. Only one of the cartridges I load for (the .40 S&W) was introduced in the last 40 years.

Interesting. Glad to see the Hornet still doing well. I was surprised to the WSSM's ahead of some cartridges. Doesn't look good for the 338 federal. 325 WSM is dropping fast as well.
no surprises there.
6.5X55 and .41 magnum would be much higher on the list, but most people who load those buy Redding dies.
When I get 'em I'll add 2001 and 2002 to the spreadsheet, plus 2008 when RCBS finishes it.

BTW, if anyone cannot open the Excell spreadsheet, let me know and I'll convert it to PDF format.
