City deer always get big...The ones that eat at the golf course buffet where I used to live were down right impressive...

Use the shovel brother,

If you get caught, tell them the buck bit your cat and tried to steal some lawn furniture...

My grandfather used to tell a story about commercial duck hunters down in the Tulare lake region of central California. This was to have taken place in the early 1900's He said that in the winter when the ducks and geese migrated into the area that the commercial hunters would go up into the foothills and get some moonshine, and bring it home to soak corn in. They would go out before daylight and spread the corn. When the ducks and geese came in the morning they would eat the corn. He stated that by noon they would hitch up the wagon and go load up the geese as they were to drunk to fly. Not sure of the dosage but it might be fun to try on your deer project.
