Well boys and girls I am sitting in my second office, (my gazebo), with my computer and coffee billing out work that is already done and accepting new jobs over the phone even as i type this. The coffee is hot and the work is coming in and to borrow a line from Steelhead...LIFE DONT SUCK. So how are the rest of you doing thiws morning? Bear

Scott - glad to hear that life neither sucks nor "blows". (Did you ever figure out the cause of your distress? One time when I was in high school, I came home late and had a bottle of strawberry pop and some left-over macacroni/hamburger/tomoto casserole that apparently was a bit too "left-over". The results were not only explosive, but also a technicolor delight.) Best, John

It's been a good day so far. I took my 4yr old to her first day of school, where she gave me a kiss on the cheek and told me she loved me. The rest of the morning went well too, but after that, it is all gravy.......

Managed to get everyone to school on time. Work is still slow, but I have a job. Trying to figure out if I should take tomorrow off, of just take off a bit early, pick my son up from school and spend a couple hours at the range before picking mama up from work. I'm leaning towards the latter. He's got Monday off from school, so we're planning to spend the day chasing hares and hopefully bagging a few.

Life don't suck at all, very hectic, but not sucking.

Long days and short years.....

I woke up alive this morning, that makes me a winner!

Had a very bad scare a few days ago, terrifying really. I woke up and nothing hurt, thought I had passed away during the night.

Things are good here... I brought my office into the kitchen. baking cookies, entering invoices on the laptop and making appointments on the bluetooth.
Only problem is I forgot where I set my cup of coffee

Cookies!!!!? Damn, I don't have no stinking cookies! Think I'll just go find another cup of coffee. Bear

The damned State controller still is not writing checks so I'll catch up to you later on the cookies. They still want me to work but they will not pay me for it yet So far eight months out of the last twelve no checks. Bear

I never thought I'd be really looking forward to my daughter having her drivers license. But, having someone else to drive, and one less person to have to get to school, lessons et al will be a huge relief. And I have a feeling that the year to get to the point will pass mighty quick.

I found it! Patio.. it's all cold now, but a few ice cubes, scoop of vanilla ice cream, and voila, iced coffee . No worries on the cookies The state really needs to get on the ball!

Life is good, I have lots of work (July was my best month ever),oldest daughter graduates from Clemson in November, is getting married & then commissions into the USAF. Also, its close to hunting season
