As usual whenever I have a question I can't find an answer for, I turn to the Fire and the collective knowledge available.

I have 27 Goudey Gum Baseball cards dated 1933. I have tried to look up values on the internet and I get a wild array of conflicting prices.
One card is a Dazzy Vance in VG condition. Prices range from $48.00, $225.00 all the way to $600.00
I also have 50 cards by Goudey called Indian Gum which I think came out before the baseball cards. Most of these show their age and a lot of handling. Most have slightly rounded corners but a few are in VG condition too.It appears there were 4 sets made. One set with 24 cards, one with 48 cards, one with 96 cards and a final set of 192 cards. I have not found out much other than they are supposed to be very collectible.

The final ones were made by GUM Incorporated in Philadelphia. These are labeled the "Wild West" series. I have 17 out of a series of 49 cards. Interesting thing, on the back of the cards are red lines you could use as a guide to cut the cards into a puzzle. Maybe that is why I have so few, someone with a pair of scissors beat me to them.
Condition of the cards varies from poor to VG.

Thank you in advance for ANY direction, help or information you may have.

I am looking into selling these, but knowing little or nothing about cards I know I would get hosed.

Thanks again..

There's a few sets on ebay. Don't know if it helps or not.
I appreciate your input, but from what i hear ebay isn't a great place to use anymore. Too many people selling junk. I have no problem taking a little less and using an actual dealer. Whatever..Thanks again Fish..
