In 1976 this germanic gun manufacture introduced this rifle it was discontinued in 1986, It had a rather unique feature that turned reloaders off, I have never seen one so they must be rather scarce, today they comand a rather health price.
Bullwnkl.

HK G-11. It fired caseless ammo.
Either that or the HK 770. Had a fluted chamber if I remember right.

Naw,it was one of them Whittensheimer A-23's.It fired by mind control, leaving many of us reloaders without a reliable firing mechanism. There are several un-fired down at Bryan-College Station.

I have probably got the spelling wrong but was it the Voore rifle with caseless ammo?
And didn't we all expect to be firing futuristic linear accellerator rifles by now...with self-guiding hyper-velocity 3mm projectiles? Happy 2002!

Boggy Creek You got it. And thought this would be more difficult than it was, the fluted chamber is not that well known.
Actually I saw one fired once. The cases looked like little accordions. Impressed the heck out of me as a waste of good brass. Expensive rifles too it was in the early '80s or late 70's and the rifles cost @ 700 dollars then.

Hey Bog man I got a cure for the fluted chamber, stuff a 30-284 reamer in there and make a good gun out of what should have been an exelant gun. Now would the mags work? No matter there are so few of these around to play with any way. Me I'm looking for a Winchester 100 in 243.
Oh yeah your prize...well lets see... ummm ... I'll fry ya up a batch of oysters and sea cucumber strips if you'll come on up and get em.

I would think you could jamm something in the flutes that would make it fine for reloading, like some solder then use a reamer to smoth it out. The heat in the chamber would brobly melt it but it might last a wile. Or you could use some type of epoxy to fill it.
Or you could have peases of steal machened to fit in the flutes and epoxy them in place.
If my pickup wasn't broke and my horse wasn't foundered I'd take you up on them oysters Bullwinkl. Whatinhell is a sea cucumber. Do they make you belch? Do you make kosher dills out of them? I have eat fried pickles they are not too bad if there ain't nothing else to eat. I didn't know cucumbers grew in the sea. You aren't trying to sell a feller are you?
