Almost finished installing new living room floor. It is a 4.5mm vinyl laminate. Has interlocking edges that stick to each other, not the sub floor.

Called African dark wood.

Very cool looking. I have installed 5-6 such floors. 2 in my own home. They wear very well....

I have a Shehane laminate gunstock made of African obeche woods of those colors.

Home Depot, special order. They have several types in stock.

Pretty easy to install. The surface "planks" are 5"x36".
You can score it with a knife and break it or use tin shears.
