I just got home from the hospital. There was another weeks delay due to a minor problem when the Greenfield filter was installed, but the bypass is finally done. Finished up Mon. evening. They had me up "walking" less than 24 hrs (just sort of juddered around like a zombie for a few mins.) after surgery, pulled the chest, neck, and cath. tubes on the 3rd morning and got me into a regular room. Lots of walking and breathing exercise, and lots of coughing. Talk about a new pain experience! Woof.
So now I'm home taking lots of meds and trying to stay up and about. My girls will come out to visit and take care of me in a couple of days.
Now I've got to go back through 2 weeks of posts to try and catch up.
The last couple weeks got a little too rugged around here...skip it, and start here...trust me
An with all the Zombie-max stuff floating around, you better get better quick!!

Good for you! Follow doctor's orders, and get back to your old self!
Great news! Glad to see you back!
A big pillow is your best friend for coughs and sneezes. It will get better with time.
Welcome back but it might be best to just forget the last two weeks and just start over.
Glad you're on the mend and posting, boat.
Get well.
Stay well.
Post more.
The State of Tennessee needs ya.
So does this campfire.
Something over your way done plugged the septic pipe, it's backed up and stinkin.
Several somethings, maybe even.
Get well fast. Spring is near.
Post more, the fresh air is good.
Dont miss Ken Howell's thread 'Doc and the Mule'
When I read the title I thought you were bigsqueeze....

Glad to hear you're doing good, and good to see you back. My niece was born in that hospital in November, and my youngest is a Senior at Tech, just up the street.
Take care of yourself, and do what they say,
Rick
Keep a pillow handy when you read Ken Howells post. Laughing can be painful.
