I'd like to see an interview with her.

Very nice. We seem to have done better in the shooting than we have in the past. Maybe I'm just paying more attention.

We might be paying more attention, but as usual the media pretends there aren't really any shooting events at the Olympics. Unless the shooting event also involves cross country skiing, it ain't on TV.

They can devote 15 minutes to the struggles someone in a third world country overcame to make it to London, but not 15 seconds to covering a shooting medal for an American champion.

Kim Rhode got a bit of press for her Olympic trap medal, but they could hardly ignore her, since she's been doing that for several Olympics now.

Men's air rifle was on one of the NBC channels Monday morning. About as exciting as watching paint dry.

50 Meter competition is shot with a rimfire.

Well done, Jamie. An Army spouse as well. Hopefully her soldier can shoot almost as well.

She was offered an appointment to West Point, but opted for Univ. of Alaska/Fairbanks instead, because it was "just" a shooting scholarship. USMA wanted her to play soccer, too.

Think the same article said she's working as a college shooting team advisor in Alabama now, with hopes of becoming the head coach soon.

Jamie Gray, wife of U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit shooter SSG Hank Gray, bites her Olympic gold medal after winning the women's 50-meter rifle 3-positions event Aug. 4 at the Royal Artillery Barracks range in London. Bronze medalist Daria Vdovina of Russia stands beside Gray, who established Olympic records in both qualification (592) and final (691.9) of the event, which includes shooting from prone, standing and kneeling positions.
