Anybody that doesn't have liability insurance for driving should have to work off the cost of the damage they caused. Yes, I'm talking about well-regulated indentured servitude. I had to renew my license plates on my car 2 weeks ago at the Department of Motor Vehicals. I waited over 1 hour to do that (never again). There were 3 white people, 2 black people, 2 asian people, All the rest Mexican. I'm not prejudise, but I had so meny people (Mexicans) ask me to help them fill out forms. I wasn't going to help them thinking I would miss my turn. I told them that there's a person here at the DMV to help them. I have problems understanding them, and I'm sorry. I just can't beleive the rate they are coming into the USA. Only if the government would follow through with the laws on the books, and inforce them we wouldn't have problems.

Just like with all the gun laws. Enforce what we have, that will solve the problem. Why polititions have to make more laws is just stupid.

Interesting that it is termed "Temporary Visitors Driving License".
Wouldn't that mean that any who apply and receive one of these licenses are accepting of the condition that their stay in the state/country is not to be permanent? Well that would be the implication as I understand it. Would the license holder then have a contractual obligation to, well, leave at some point to have fulfilled their agreement to accepting a visitors license? Unsure of whether or not the "temporary" status refers their stay, or the license itself, but being a visitor does imply that one's stay is not permanent.
Or, if not leave, then at least make an application for permanent residency, and a permanent DL.
Just thinkin' is all.
