Made me absolutely sick when I read that this morning! Her family should turn around sue the [bleep] out of NY for not allowing the means for her to protect herself and her daughter, and for their failure to protect them.

Traditionally, I know, but IMO, New York and other states who are refusing to allow citizens to protect themselves are taking on an a new burden and should be held fully responsible for failing to protect their citizens. Pipe dream, probably.

I wasn't trying to be a smart A$$, but I grew up in Western N Y. Got out while the getting was good. Lots of good people there, just overshadowed by the Boobs in NYC.

What they (the F'ing libs) have done to my beloved home state makes me want to puke every time I think about it.

I was born and raised in Waaaaaayy upstate NY in the 60's and 70's.

We didn't bother to lock the house when we left and the old man used to leave the keys in his IH Scout, in case a neighbor needed to borrow it.

It ain't the same place, hence I don't live there no more.

As long as you can't get large sodas, the people are safe.
