It's been a roller coaster the last couple days to say the least. We went in yesterday morning for our weekly checkup at 35 weeks 5 days and the Dr had some concerns with our baby girl as she hasn't grown any in the last 3 weeks, but our boy had put on another pound. He said they needed to come out ASAP, so he put us in the hospital. At 530pm yesterday evening these two cuties came into the world:
Lexa Elliott, 4lb-1oz, 17.5"
Thatcher Finn, 5lb-11oz, 19"
It was scary as they went straight to the NICU, but I was right in the mix as the staff worked their magic. Baby girl came around with oxygen and baby boy was just ready for a nap. They are doing well today, Lil man is still sleeping mostly, but baby girl is a wiggle wart. They are both taking bottles just fine now and baby girl has been weaned off oxygen and radiant heat. They are both bundled up and sleeping now. Mom hasn't gotten to see them yet, so I've been taking pics and video to show her. We are getting prepped to go see them in a bit and Mom will be the first to hold them. After 28 hours, she is more than ready.
Have a good one,
Loder
Notice Lil Man is already working on that aiming eye lol

My oldest was born at 35 weeks and spent 6 days in NICU - emergency C section due to an abrupted placenta. Had a few scary days and nights ourselves.
It's all good!

Just got a text from Ronny, things are not going just right for the little guy, and it has the doctors a little stumped.

Ronny,
Sorry I missed this great news when you first posted it. Congratulations on a beautiful set of twins. I know it can be scary as multiples rarely go full term, but they look great!
How are they doing now? And I hope you and your bride are well too!
Chris
Thanks all!
They are doing great Chris. It was real scary while in the NICU, but they are very healthy now.
Outstanding! I somehow missed the thread also, but am very glad to hear that all is well. Sometimes the little ones do need a bit more time in the "toaster". (grin)

Way to go there!
