Excellent actor, he owned that role as Tony Soprano. He was so very sexy and so very handsome. He could give me day dreams about night things in the middle of the afternoon.

I have probably watched every Soprano's episode 10x. Gandolfini made it it work, great writing no doubt, but to convey innate sensitivity to cunning animal survival, perfect role for a great actor.
JG had a big heart for the troops too. I remember a couple years or so ago, he did a tv show where he was interviewing a bunch of the wounded troops who were back home and coping with their disabilities.
I figured he was dead before Journey was done playing on the juke box! We just didn't get to see how or who!
Yeah, in the first season they discussed what it would be like to be whacked, and that's how they described it, i.e., one second you're doing your normal routine (having a meal with family at a diner), then suddenly everything goes blank.

Check out "ALIVE DAY" w/ HBO Well worth the watch. R.I.P. JG.
I loved his work, one of the best actors I have ever watched. 51 is way too young. He was a good guy who did a lot of charity work for veterans. He will be missed. RIP

He might have been one of my favorite actors. No one played a Gangster any better. RIP
