Col, I made it through about 10 seconds. I hear that everyday...
Not to worry.
Won't be any riots where I live.
I am a free man, I choose where I live. I wouldn't live where there is a large population that would act like, that for all the tea in China
whistle
here I figured I would get to see a pic of a minne gun....my bad frown

Yep, plus 000 & slugs, if necessary.
Ebonics isn't that hard to understand as long as you remember that Scheeeet ,M.F....beyoitches make up 60% of their vocabulary...

and no matter how educated they might be, the still say AXT for Ask and Foah for Four...
reminds me of what I told the cashier at the grocery store when I first moved to Miami years ago.
She greeted me in Spanish, and was just talking away, when I interrupted her and said "Pardon me Mam, but I don't habla a word of that scheit"

Yep.

And there won't be riots where I live either, so you boys have fun.

This stuff is getting a little old. This place is starting to sound like a Skinhead forum.

There won't be any real riots, as much as the MSM wants them. Maybe a few thugs looking to get a new TV set.
Let's just bring in a few Korean shopkeepers (or other like-minded GOOD folk)!

In a really bad situation where things have deteriorated for the long run, so would I.
Let's compromise: AR-10.

If I remember correctly, they were giving away free prizes via Browning A-5 Shotguns.

No, it's a good start. I am finding Garands to be very addictive.

JM, thanks for the compliment. Those are a couple of projects I did since April, both are complete but very functional mix-masters.

Beware the Ping....

Good compromise.
Where I live, they won't get close enough for me to hear what they're saying... wink

No ....beware M1 thumb eek
I've not gotten one of those, but I see where the possibility lies in either not locking the bolt ALL the way back instead of resting on the follower, trying to single load, or playing around with an empty one. You do need to be aware of what you are doing.

Both of mine need a push on the op-rod handle when a new clip is charged.

I imagine there is some very real damage incurred when the bolt bites the thumb.

They do make a device that keeps the bolt open after loading, but it also stops ejection of the clip. You have to load and then retract the op-rod slightly, ala M14. That may be handy for hunting with the M1.
