I think both of you fail to realize that there are many conservatives who have no problem peeling the blinders off long enough to shake hands with the guy sitting next to them without all of the hate that comes from folks with tinny narrow minds! Most of the country have some conservative values, some liberal values but mostly moderate points of view. Life is way to short to hate everyone who does not go to the same church as you, hate the same minorities as you and drink the same Kool-Aid as you. We live in a diverse world with lots of different kinds of people and ya know, they don't all hate!

I'm not surprised or alarmed at the 22% (+/-3%) poll if we concede it had valid sampling methods and didn't follow some global warming methodology.
Its an off year and people may be taking a break from being intensely involved.
