Not at all! That is me during my first year up here in Alaska. They had some shorter bats but I found that the tee-ball bat worked the best. Normally I would try and wack them when they are still in the pen, saved my arms from trying to hold onto a thrashing fish.

Your stuff always fascinates me, Sam. I love the farm/agro shots, even if I corn-fess to not knowing a GD thing about it. Were I to guess, the big green machine (combine?)has cut some crops with the spinny blades on the front, and is loading some of...Wait, nope. Way too small of a bed on that truck. Ahem, the two lads in the P/U are *fixing* something that broke on the end of the big green machine's shooting spout tube deal. How'd I do?

The brew can pyramid is nice, too, but I confess to having seen one or two before...

I see, and OK. I thought you were swinging a full-sized aluminum bat. Seemed to me that's a lot more weight than necessary to be swinging all day on fish of that size, but what you say makes sense.

The big green machine(combine) turned too sharp and snagged a tree with the unloading auger. One of the teenage kids in the back of the pickup operates and does a damn good job. Honest mistake.

Not our machine, I woouldn't have a clue how to run one.

Of the three drugs I had, "K" was one. How that is a "recreational" drug is beyond me. Yea, a lot of stories.

The pilot has a viewing window so he can monitor the health of the fish. He has an oxygen tank in his cabin and he can regulate how much oxygen the fry are getting, depending on how they look.


Here is a cool video of whales trying to eat our fish while they are in the saltwater pens. The bubbles you see are the "net" that they use to herd the fish together.
