We felt it here in Spartanburg.
Very noticed, but, my top floor overhangs my lower so that may have something to do with it.

Minor Earthquake Centered In Beaufort County
Updated: Tue 4:01 PM, Feb 11, 2014

Ahead of the snow storm there was an earthquake. Yes, an earthquake Monday afternoon in Eastern Carolina.

The U.S. Geological Survey says a 2.5 magnitude tremor was centered off Tetterton Road in Beaufort County, 9 miles east of Aurora.

Several people in Beaufort and Pamlico counties said they felt the tremor or heard the boom, but no damage was reported.

The USGS says the quake was located 2.4 miles underground and shook the ground around 3:00 p.m.

Last June, a 2.1 magnitude earthquake shook southern Lenoir County. No damage or injuries were reported in that earthquake.

A 2.5 made the news? Heck, we don't even get out a bed for that size. In October alone we'll have dozens of those itty bitty ones.

4.1, for a long time I thought California would be the first to go then the History channel told me it was going to be Yellowstone that takes out the whole country. Now this and the snake handling pastor dead of snakebite.
