Wicked Strong 100.00 to win
Don't know who will win, but going to watch!
Been some really close races all day! Especially, on the dirt. The track is fast.
The Woodford Reserve turf finish was great. Wise Dan at 7 years old simply does not lose.
Like they said. He willed his way to a win.
Seven hours of pre-race gobbledygook, two minutes of action. I got no horse this year. Where's Bob?
I've got General A-Rod, in a futures bet.
California Chrome looking to be the favorite.
Think I'm going with Wicked Strong or Danza. Maybe box those 2 with California Chrome.
I like Wicked Strong myself.
California Chrome has t he resume, Medal Count has the breeding and decent odds to bet.
Medal Count still could bring in some good cash at Show. Good bet I think.
Wildcat Red just because.
California Chrome is an impressive animal. Gotta love the story.
Yeah, Sounds like the owner has his life riding it him. It's the owners birthday today also.
Yes, he is an impressive animal. Love the name DumbAzz Partners. 8k---amazing! You just never know. That jumbo monitor is awesome.
I picked him to run second just a head of Chrome.
1 Wicked Strong 2 Wildcat Red 3 California Chrome
I was watching the "picks" by the celebrities and about crapped when that gay bird johnny weir dressed all in white with a feathered girly hat - what a joke. But Calvin Borel is on Ride On Curlin . . .
Yea that guy (gay) wearing that hat made me cuss. Typical national coverage.
Riders up! Gary Stevens is no slouch either.
I like Danza. The cross dressing, homosexual is hilarious.
You have to turn the sound up all the way from the time they load the horses into the gate. Most exciting 2 minutes in sports right here!!!

And that it is!
Chrome will take the Triple Crown
Man CC is a lot of horse!!
That move was incredible. Coasted in.
Wow! That was Great! Super Horse and Jockey. Love the story behind this one.
Chrome will take the Triple Crown
I believe you're right. CC had more in the tank but of course the starting pace was slow.
DAP----still laughing at a great name!
Did they say that CC's owner payed only $10K for him ? I wonder what he became worth the minute he crossed the finish line ??? One hell of a horse, IMO. Good race, too.
Before the race they were offered $6M for 51%.
Here it is for those that missed it. Great horse.
VIDEO
Come on now, how many of you guys were hoping the California horse would finish dead last??????
What a dominant finish, that was cool.

The paid 8,000.00 for his mother and a 2,00.00 dollar stud fee. They are the breeders. CC mother couldn't out run you or me and his father wasn't outstanding either.

I wanted CC to win, because his owners are regular people.
Yep, good to see some "regular" folks win.
I wonder how he will do in a longer race?? Was he cruising or getting caught there at the end?
I was wondering the same thing for the Belmont.
He sure looked to me like he had a lot more in him and no others were really closing and CC pulled up a bit. That race was all about the far and 4th turn positioning for CC. As Ghost said one heck of a move in the 4th.
I think he'll win the Preakness going away, but it takes a very special horse to do it again in the 1.5 mile Belmont. Should be fun, regardless.
The Belmont will be his undoing, I'm afraid. He was being closed on at the last in the Derby, and it was a slow early pace. A distance horse wins Belmont. Commanding Curve looks like a Belmont horse to me.

It may have been the word "California" that turned people off . . . but I did like the owners.
I haven't watched horse racing in a few yrs. until the Derby. Thoroughbreds look more like quarter horses now days.
CC will face fresh horses in the Belmont geared for the long hall. I still think he is the real deal.
