Hey guys and gals. I could use some prayers for my aunt today. She is my mom's twin sister and like a second mother to me.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer and she is in surgery today. We are hoping and praying that it hasn't spread beyond the breast which is what they will find out today.
So if you could toss one up to the big guy for her, I'd certainly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
Prayers for complete uncomplicated healing and guidance to her caregivers.
Praying for the best. Hope it all turns out well.
You certainly have mine. Dorothy has been through that ordeal twice and is doing well today. Perhaps that will offer some encouragement.
Thanks guys. It means a lot!
Mickey - That does offer some encouragement. Thank you for that
Prayers offered up for comfort and strength, and the best possible outcome for your Aunt. Prayers also offered up for wisdom and guidance for the Surgeons, Nurses, and Technicians who will aid the Lord in her healing.
Done. Please let us know how she is doing.
Prayers for a positive outcome.
You got 'em sir... Best wishes on the outcome.
You have them sent your way Big Jelly.
Thanks again everybody. She is in surgery as I type this.
Praying for your aunt and that she can be completely healed.
Just got back from the hospital. She is out of surgery and the surgeon said everything looked good. They are still running some tests but so far so good!

Rooster, that is great news. Please assure your aunt that there are a lot of people praying for her in her ordeal.
I will praying for a full recovery.
Jim
Hang tough Rooster. She needs you now more than ever. Prayers sent from your home state. Us Gophers gotta stick together and have each other's 6.
Jim, my mom was diagnosed 15 years ago. She had a double mastectomy. Cancer free ever since. Turns 80 Saturday. I bet your aunt will be the same. Sending good thoughts your way.
I'm late to this thread, but prayers are being sent from here.

Rooster, I just found your post as I have had issues with my laptop for the past couple days. It sounds like your aunt has a good prognosis. We are praising God with you! I'm a cancer survivor and realize first hand how life is never the same after this diagnosis. Regardless, it's in the deepest valleys that our Lord and Savior restores our very soul. Your aunt has my continued prayers as she heals up from surgery and continues with treatment. This is just another Red Sea. God is still in the miracle working business!
Prayers sent from New Jersey!
I sure will pass all this along to her. Thank you very much everyone. I can't tell you what it means...
Just saw this.
Prayers up for healing and for comfort!
Ed
Prayers sent. Great news!
Rooster, That bastid - cancer - entered our lives 4 years ago.
They diagnosed "The Warden" with breast cancer, did surgery, chemo, radiation, the whole 9 yards. We go back for a check-up the 3d of July.
Point is - this is usually a highly survivable situation, given early diagnosis.
Prayers for your aunt are on the way (I HATE CANCER)
