My wife has had flu like symptoms for several days. We came to the emergency room this morning because she was having severe abdominal pain. She has some kind of intestinal infection. They are admitting her to the hospital. Don't know much else right now.
God's peace and healing. Amen.
Prayers lifted for healing and grace from God Almighty.

Hang in there!
Probably a stout round of strong antibiotics via IV will be the ticket. Prayers sent as well.
Robert,
SO sorry to hear of this. A big move like you all just did is very stressful on everyone, and lowers our immunity.
Praying now, and will continue to do so through the day and on until I get a good report back from you.
MARK
Prayers of healing offered.
They're going to put her on antibiotics and keep her for a while. They just traveled from Japan last week, so the doc said she probably picked up some kind of bug during travel. Her white blood cell count is way high.
I am glad they have it figured out somewhat. She is where she needs to be for now, it seems.
Possibly new country = new 'bugs' that her immune system was not ready for.
Please do keep us posted.
Prayers and best wishes sent from Minnesota
We are praying for healing and some answers!
Our son got sick as a dog when we moved to Japan and now she got sick when we moved back.
God's peace and healing. Amen.
From here as well.
Will do. Please let us know when you find out what is wrong.
Jim
Prayers on the way from me. Hope she gets well real soon.
She's a bit better today. Her white blood cell count and most of the rest of the blood work came back quite a bit better, but she's not going anywhere yet.
Glad to hear she's improving. Prayers from Oregon.

Great news! We are so very glad that she is on a treatment plan that is working!
Sherri and I will probably take you up on your offer of a visit next spring and finally get to meet your lovely bride. She and your new home there should be right as rain by then.
We will keep the prayers coming, though, for sure.
Prayers lifted up from here, too.
Ed
Not much change today, although her pain level seems to be dropping some. She'll21 probably be in the hospital for a few more days..
Just saw this - prayers sent.
Get her checked out good...Buf. powdr
Praying that she recovers quickly.
Hopes and prayers for a full and complete recovery.
Her blood work came back quite a bit better today, but she still can't keep anything down.
I took the week off from work so that I could spend time with her at the hospital, and then yesterday out household goods shipment came in from Japan. So now I'm trying to visit her in the hospital and organize 12000 pounds of household goods in the new house.
I think I've touched base with everybody, but if I owe you something and you haven't got it, please send me a pm and have a little patience. There is not enough time in the day right now.
To top it all off, our wonderful USPS has "lost" a rifle that I sold to member from Alaska. They say I have to file a claim.
I told him I would send him a refund last week. I haven't done it yet, but I will tomorrow.
Rob
Thought she might get to come home, but now her white blood cell count is going back up and she has a fever again...
thanks for the update, praying.

Same here!
So, after 9 days in the hospital, they finally figured out what's going on. Something had poked a hole in her intestines, which caused some abscesses in her belly, which is what's been causing the infections. They're going to drain the abscesses today and the doc said she should 8 better very quickly now.
Glad they have isolated the problem and healing is just around the corner!
So she finally came home tonight after 17 days in the hospital. I get to give her IV antibiotics every 8 hours for the next several days, but she's finally home. Thanks for all the thought and prayers.
Rob
Sorry I missed this earlier. Prayers sent for her recovery and strength to your family.
I am so glad to hear the good news. She is home where she belongs.
Jim

Same here, don't know how I missed this. Glad your wife is home. That's got to lift her spirits and make her feel better! Prayers for a quick and full recovery are on the way.
Bob
And now she's back in the hospital. She's got an ongoing abdominal infection and they can't figure out for sure what's causing it.
Hi Rob,
Praying for God's healing touch for your sweetheart, strength for both of you, and wisdom for the doctors.
You are a major source of strength for your wife by being there and advocating for her needs! Stay strong brother

Glad to hear, hope yall don't have to go back anytime soon
And she's home again finally.
Good to hear. Prayers for her continual recovery.
