I'd like a piece of pecan pie myself. Just roasted a turkey, we had 'Christmas' dinner tonight, since we weren't home for Christmas.

I couldn't deprive my dogs from some leftover turkey.

everyone should always have all the makings of a pecan pie in their kitchen. Pretty simple recipe when you think about it. The one on the Karo corn syrup bottle is as good as it gets. Maybe a little Jim Beam mixed in....

Had one huge pan with 3 sections...Mushrooms added or green beans added or green peas added, not sure why she cooked it that way but was delicious.

Soda bread I was told is what they eat in Ireland and instead of yeast uses baking soda.

Was sort of dense, white bread and with a little sugar would have been sort of cake like. Really good too.
