Has anyone replaced the firing pin or firing pin spring in a Kimber Rifle bolt assembly?

I need to do this on a K22 which is essentially the same assembly as the centerfires but do not know how to disassemble the firing pin assembly.

Any help appreciated.

Twofish...I did exactly that job for a friend, but it was a good 10 years ago. I remember it being a little tricky, but I can't recall how to do it again off the top of my head. Let me see if I can find a photo of a bolt and see if that jogs my memory.
Thanks GunGeek, I appreciate it.
I can't find a schematic online.

Are the firing pin and firing pin spring available somewhere as replacement parts for a K22? Or do centerfire parts work? Thought I heard somewhere Kimber no longer services K22's.
I will look and see if I can find one. I know it is on Kimber's site as a PDF but don't know if I can copy and post from that.

The K22 uses a spring that is common with one of the centerfires. When I called Kimber to enquire about a spring they looked up my serial number and said it was the same part number as the centerfire spring.

I ordered the spring and am just now getting around to messing with it. I called Kimber to get some advice regarding disassembly of the firing pin but they would not share anything due to "liability issues".

the kimber website is super slow. if the schematic is there as a pdf you could download it and email it to gungeek
Finally got the manual to download.

Here is a link:

Any help is appreciated.
