You all should read this one. It'll teach you a thing or two about how the world REALLY works.

Reagan had two Bechtel people in his cabinet......George Schultz and Caspar Weinberger. Wanna guess as to which positions they held?

No kidding.....sheeeeeeple.

I have done a lot of work with Bechtel. A third of my career at least. Great company.

One has to be proud that there were good companies. They are rare, but around.

That is outrageous! Why would a president pick experienced leaders and managers for key positions? There are so many ethical lawyers, community organizers and political operatives to choose from that have no real experience.

Gotta laugh, Dudes. Little bit defensive, are we?

Sounds like ya'll have heard this one before. I wonder during what kind of conversation and just who else was present.

The soldiers don't wanna believe it and the rich folk will never admit it. The sheeple just continue on as they always do.

I was enlightened to this particular situation many years ago by a Vietnam Vet who had been thru much over there.

How many businesses men/women does the blunder in chief have?
Wow, some one close to the inner circle got some good contracts. What a fuggin revelation you are.
Kook,

There is a bigger picture here. And you know very well what it is.

Duh. We all know that. Again, no big fuggin revelations in your post.

Would you really rather have a bunch of couldn't get it done pin head coaches and teachers, or some body that actually knows how to make money and win wars be on the head honcho's cabinet?
It doesn't take a road scholar to know who can get schit done, and who can fleece your pockets and give out free ice cream.
Wasn't talking about winning wars, Wiz.

Was talking about creating them.

To the company that had:
A. A proven track record to support a mission of this magnitude
B. Submitted a bid within the parameters set forth.

The fact those two guys worked at Bechtel just goes to show that top performers get the top jobs in the corporate world. If I were president, I would much rather have a George Schultz as my Secretary Of State with PROVEN credentials than the two past current secretaries which were appointed SOLELY on their connections.

Some little ten man construction crew that has trouble making payroll?
Or some outfit that can do the big jobs?
