And for the love of pete, I looked hard for a decent rendition of Oh, Shenandoah on youtube and despite all the version, I found them all lacking; either too high an octave, not full enough sound, or too simple, or some kind of warbling etc, etc. And some version of a guy passing a kidney stone as he forced out the words. such a beautiful song.
And lastly, still my favorite girl.
I guess this is a vintage video. Pretty ridiculous, but you get to see alot of her- what a beauty, able to dial up then back off that powerhouse voice she has; plus you get to see all the pieces of her band that make up her terrific, eclectic sound. Alot of brass, piano, bongos, dual guitar, and drums.
