A good buddy of mine has been going every few years for as long as I can remember. Has bugged me to go many times but bikes are not my thing.

Riding in traffic on my ZRX is adventure enough for me, the TT riders are from another planet.

They clank when those guys walk.

Dudes like Mouse McCoy who race Baja 1000 solo on a bike are crazy too - just a different flavor.

Isle of Man is more of a death defying act than it is a race. 242 riders have been killed competing in it.

That many? Wow..

Wow. I didn't know it was that many, either. And these aren't putt-putts they're riding. These are the real deal superbikes.

Also consider the IOM-TT has been going on for over 100 years. Started in 1907.

I remember watching that one...I was damn near in tears when he crashed. That guy is such a STUD!! I can't imagine 1,000 miles of off road racing on a motorcycle! His level of physical fitness had to be off the charts. Dood came VERY close to a podium finish racing against teams of riders.
