You can dispense with the countdown. I just got a group PM.

Bow has let a contract on C'Jack.
It seems all I could find was a hit piece by a left winger. What did she say that's so bad?
I wouldn't be surprised if Megyn Kelly's rise has as much to do with it as Palin's drop in standings

6/23/15 Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is launching a publishing project soon, Politico today reported. She did not renew her contract with Fox News; the separation was amicable.

As we reported yesterday, SarahPAC will be very active in 2016. Politico reported that SarahPAC donors will be receiving a 30 minute DVD chronicling her effect on the GOP over the past three election cycles.

The Sarah Palin Facebook Page cover photo was changed at midnight to this:
"I didn’t get into government to do the safe and easy things. A ship in harbor is safe, but that’s not why the ship is built." –Sarah Palin

Last time I saw Sarah was on FOX with Hannity some time ago. Her standard six minute slot gave him her usual bump in the ratings.
Best to look elsewhere for the reasons for the split.

Sarah is clearing her decks and running out the guns to do something...
I am looking at the first week of August, just before or just after the first debate on FOX. I also do not think anyone is going to have a big breakout from that debate.
Here are a few of the quotes and reasons why I say this:
"She also recently promoted the release of a "full-length" video about her. The promotion included the words, "You ain't seen nothin' yet". The promotion included snippets from other Republicans, many of whom are running for President saying nice things about Sarah Palin."

"On the 4th of July she sent those who subscribe to the Sarah Palin Channel an email, an email which needs to be read very carefully. The critical words are "August 1st", "all of my content will be free" and "and I’ll be right there with you doing the same on Facebook, SarahPac.com, and on the road as we confront a critical choice in 2016."

“She remains a huge conservative force on Facebook, with 4.5 million fans – twice that of Rand Paul, who has the biggest reach in the 2016 field. She also has 1.15 million Twitter followers.
Palin’s Facebook page got a new look at midnight, including a new cover photo with a quote from her announcement speech in Dayton, Ohio: 'I didn’t get into government to do the safe and easy things. A ship in harbor is safe but that’s not why the ship is built.'”

“The St. Augustine Tea Party Examiner has been conducting polls for the past four years of the over 5 million visitors in the historic district of St. Augustine, Florida. They ask only American citizens of voting age and most of them are from every other state in the union.
“Who would you vote for Sarah Palin or Hillary Clinton?
January 31,2015 Palin 74% Clinton 6% Neither 20%
April 18, 2015 Palin 79% Clinton 7% Neither 14%

Who would you vote for Sarah Palin or Jeb Bush?”
April 25, 2015 Palin 55% Bush 37% Neither 8%”

AND finally there is this quote...
"She is going on the road and it's about confronting a critical choice in 2016. It's not about supporting Congressional candidates as she has been doing."

First of August, we will see what course has been set by the USS Sarah.

Really! This could get interesting.

The Undefeated to Air on NewsMaxTV July 11

NewsMaxTV will air The Undefeated July 11 at 8 PM ET / 5 PM Pacific.
The Undefeated was produced in 2011 by Stephen K. Bannon. It debuted in Pella, Iowa.

As I reported in “The Undefeated”: From Right and Left, Part 1
The movie was born when Governor Palin approached Rebecca Mansour, a close aide of hers with the directive to request Stephen K. Bannon, a conservative film maker produce a video series documenting her accomplishments – specifically as Mayor of Wasilla, Chairman of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, and Governor of Alaska, before and afterbeing chosen as John McCain’s running mate in 2008.

Gov. Palin also wanted to set the record straight about why she resigned office after serving 31 months of her term, a decision that perturbs some potential supporters. Bannon agreed on one condition: that it be a full-length feature movie and that Victory Film Group finance the $1 million cost.

Breitbart’s Tony Lee said, The Undefeated “reaffirm what Palin supporters like about her while presenting a solid case to those who may be on the fence about Palin that she cannot only be a strong executive but that she can and has had a history of winning over independents.”

NewsMAX TV is available at DirecTV channel 349, Dish Network channel 223 and Verizon FIOS Channel 115, on iOS and Android devices, and directly at NewsMaxTV.com
If I didn't have to pluck my nose hairs with needle nose pliers on July 11th I'd probably watch that.

Coulda saved the state about $3B more if she would have stepped down a couple years earlier than she did.

Yea,,,, I've heard that story until I'm sick of it.

It's right up there with "sanctary city's encourage illegals to rat on each other" so they're a good idea.

She should have stood her ground and counter sued but instead she gave up and walked away from her "sworn oath" which you obviously don't put much store in.

You guys in the lower 48 seeing a trend here? Most of us in Ak would really like to see the Palin family and all of their drama move to one of your states, soon please!

This is so old and so stupid; shot down so many times it must be Trolling...
So Gov. Palin was making about $125 to $145K a year and there’s about $1 million in personal legal fees coming at her and her family…you do the math. At the time Alaska was the only state that did not protect their legislators from frivolous lawsuits.

However, Sarah said money can be paid back, but tying up her office to the point of not getting done what she needed to do was unacceptable.
Only the opposition really comprehends the work involved with FOIA requests-from the retrieval of all correspondence and emails, to copying them for lawyers and staff to review in order to remove confidential or privileged information, to assembling and packing them, and on and on. Just one of these requests for a certain batch of e-mails generated 24,000 individual sheets of paper.
So instead of doing our jobs, my staff, including attorneys, spent thousands of hours and wasted more than $2 million of public monies to sort through it all one sheet at a time.” Governor Palin.

When Alaska finally figured out what it had also cost the state, they finally reformed their ethics law. A year later.
Alaska did not pay Sarah's bills. They do now. Just like any other state and the Feds. You can sue Obama until the cows come home and US taxpayers pick up the tab.
On December 22, 2010, new rules governing Alaska executive branch ethics, stemming from Sarah Palin's tenure as governor, took effect.

“Loss of reputation I can take. But I could not and cannot tolerate watching Alaska suffer. One by one, each ethics complaint against me was tossed out. But a new one quickly sprouted to take its place. I knew it wouldn’t stop and the ongoing cost to our system plagued me.
My loyal staff who had accomplished so much with me in our years in office were besieged. No one could paralyze my administration before, and I wouldn’t have been told to sit down and shut up, but these frivolous and expensive complaints were effectively doing what no one else could.
[...]
At some point, you have to say "Enough." You have to pick your battle. Pick your hilltop. And hold the position of your own choosing. My state was being shaken by one partisan earthquake after another. Every time we found steady ground, "another avalanche of FOIAs, ethics complaints, and lawsuits crashed down. My team had been targeted for destruction because of who the team leader was. I began to think it was time to pass the ball.” Governor Palin

"So who funded the lawsuits?
The National Democratic Committee used its Alaska chapter, the Alaska Democratic Party (ADP), to create a website with one stated goal: "Keep Sarah Palin Out of Public Office." To this day, the Democrats use this website to publicly seek donations for funding bogus "legal challenges involving issues related to Sarah Palin."
The ADP's "Keep Sarah Palin Out of Public Office" campaign used our own legal system to sponsor more than two dozen ethics complaints against Governor Palin. Out of the 27 complaints, 26 were dismissed!
The so-called "independent counsel" who started this investigation was an attorney from President Barack Obama's law firm."

For the record, in those two and half years Sarah checked off every item on her to-do list. Kept every promise made to those who elected her. Changed and reformed the political landscape of Alaska more than any other Governor.

Your chickenchit potus that you can never find a disparaging word to say about just continues to cost people that work for a living more $$ to give to slackin POS folks that don't work. i.e. insurance subsidies for minimum wage or work part time folks and 70% increases for those of us that do.

Naw, let's not. You gotta understand Walt, it's nothing really personal, but most of the people on here simply hate liberals. We've seen you libs support the most corrupt and destructive administration in the nations history, no matter how outrageous the scandal is because facts don't matter, but the progressive agenda, in all it's marxist glory, does. Doesn't matter how stupid, criminal, apparent, and undeniable it is, you folks spin a Bush's fault on it and think no one's the wiser. That's hard to stomach while we watch the country we loved and wanted our kids to live in disintegrate before your eyes because of lemmings, sheeple and traitors: all one in the same.

People who should know better, except for stiff necks and the mental disease that liberalism brings, where truth becomes lies and right is wrong. That gets a little hard to deal with, and the further we go, the harder it gets.

Think about it this way. If the muslims living in the US would have heckled and taunted the 911 crews clearing out the rubble from the Towers, how do you think that would have gone over? It's not much different than when liberals take their party line lies and trot them out as truth in an attempt to excuse abject treason.

And liberals have about the same agenda as muslims do for America. Change it from what it was, which was the most prosperous and free nation in the world, to something much less.Liberals via always failed socialism and muslims via sharia. The threat is essentially the same, and should be treated as such.

You getting it yet? You, and your ilk, are the biggest threat to traditional America any of us have ever seen. Think this will end well? I always have hope, and it's a good thing I believe in miracles, but.... We'll see.

You must have me confused with someone else....I never supported the Bush?Cheney administration ever!

What we have seen in the past 20 years is a small but angry and vocal wing of the GOP has become so polarized that we now have the likes of Trump leading the GOP. The crazy thing is Cruz looks sane when standing beside Trump!

Remember that this thread is or was about Palin getting dumped by FOX...remember?
See if this helps Rick:

The GOP doesn't have a Donald Trump problem. It has an angry conservative base problem.

http://theweek.com/articles/565446/...-problem-angry-conservative-base-problem

And you gotta have some sympathy for their plight.

Quote
Actually, I take that back. It's entirely possible to have nothing but schadenfreude for what the GOP is going through. There is certainly a chickens-coming-home-to-roost character to Donald Trump's meteoric rise in the polls over the past couple of weeks.

I think this reinforces my point of a angry wing of the GOP

Quote
This is a party, after all, that has spent close to the entirety of the Obama administration stoking right-wing populism, encouraging conspiracy theories about the president and his policies, and deploying wildly irresponsible rhetoric about the dire threats posed to the nation by mainstream members of the Democratic Party.

All of them saw the world through a fog of paranoia and conspiracy

Stupidity or trolling, either way it is utter Palin Derangement Syndrome (PDS). Being forced out of office does not make anyone a “Quitter.”

So Gov. Palin was making about $125 to $145K a year and there’s about $1 million in personal legal fees coming at her and her family…you do the math. At the time Alaska was the only state that did not protect their legislators from frivolous lawsuits.
I suppose there are some who cannot handle large negative numbers. Like the one you get when you subtract $500,000 from $150,000. Times the number of years remaining, of course.
Her Nov. 17, 2009 book deal was far from a sure thing as no vice-presidential who lost their election had ever written anything close to a best-seller about their race. Before Sarah's best seller.

However, Sarah said money can be paid back, but tying up her office to the point of not getting done what she needed to do was unacceptable.
“Only the opposition really comprehends the work involved with FOIA requests-from the retrieval of all correspondence and emails, to copying them for lawyers and staff to review in order to remove confidential or privileged information, to assembling and packing them, and on and on. So instead of doing our jobs, my staff, including attorneys, spent thousands of hours and wasted more than $2 million of public monies to sort through it all one sheet at a time.” Governor Palin.
It is easy to understand what was being done to Sarah by her enemies and what it was costing Alaska. Not just in monies wasted, but also in the stalled agenda of the most popular and effective governor Alaska ever had. I doubt the trolls even bothered to read this part...

When Alaska finally figured out what it had also cost the state, they finally reformed their ethics law. A year later.
On December 22, 2010, new rules governing Alaska executive branch ethics, stemming from Sarah Palin's tenure as governor, took effect. Too late. Sarah had moved on to the national stage and helping the Tea Party pull off their 2010 election conservative landslide.
Sarah officially stepped down as Alaska's governor on July 26, 2009.
Palin cited the decision to not seek re-election and resign from office would avoid her being a lame duckpolitician who is ineffective and "milk" the taxpayers by drawing a paycheck and funding useless travels. She said, "I'm not putting Alaska through that..." and "...it may be tempting and more comfortable to just keep your head down, plod along, and appease those who demand: 'Sit down and shut up,' but that's the worthless, easy path; that's a quitter's way out"

For the record, in those two and half years Sarah checked off every item on her to-do list. Kept every promise made to those who elected her. Changed and reformed the political landscape of Alaska more than any other Governor.
“Loss of reputation I can take. But I could not and cannot tolerate watching Alaska suffer. One by one, each ethics complaint against me was tossed out. My team had been targeted for destruction because of who the team leader was. I began to think it was time to pass the ball.” Governor Palin
http://johnrlott.blogspot.com/6/26/2010
Sarah Palin discusses who funded all the lawsuits against her while she was Governor of Alaska
The lawsuits basically forced her to leave office as governor. They would have taken a huge amount of her time just dealing with depositions. For those who haven't been through a deposition, 28 cases would have taken one day for the deposition and easily at least two or three days to prepare. Add to that the legal bill that Palin would have had to pay based on her governor's salary. Even without more cases being filed (and more would be filed), Palin would have gotten little else done as governor.

So who funded the lawsuits?
The National Democratic Committee used its Alaska chapter, the Alaska Democratic Party (ADP), to create a website with one stated goal: "Keep Sarah Palin Out of Public Office." To this day, the Democrats use this website to publicly seek donations for funding bogus "legal challenges involving issues related to Sarah Palin."
The ADP's "Keep Sarah Palin Out of Public Office" campaign used our own legal system to sponsor more than two dozen ethics complaints against Governor Palin. Out of the 27 complaints, 26 were dismissed!

The so-called "independent counsel" who started this investigation was an attorney from President Barack Obama's law firm.

I realize you believe every word that comes out of her mouth but I like to think for myself and what I see is someone that acquired more money and fame in a short period than her IQ was able to deal with.
The lure of the reality show and book tour were more than the poor dear could bear so she cut and ran. (It's always easier to cut and run than it is to stand and fight.)
(I do get a kick out of hearing her say "Golly Gee and Gee Whiz" though.)

BTW,,, Why does anyone that disagrees with you have to be stupid or a troll?
I've always found that attacking via name calling and insulting labels to be a Democratic ploy.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you mean well BowSinger (or can I just call you BS) but you're affliction for Palin is not only creepy but you're making an ass of your self with it.

Sarah!
The first lines of my first post. Which you have never answered...

So Gov. Palin was making about $125 to $145K a year and there’s about $1 million in personal legal fees coming at her and her family…you do the math. At the time Alaska was the only state that did not protect their legislators from frivolous lawsuits.

This from the guy who posted...
Wish all those dumb ass's would stop calling her "Gov." Palin.
"Stupid" is anyone that worships the ground that old skank walks on.
While I don't foresee Sarah Palin ever being elected into the federal office. I am struck by the vitriol against her.

Had the Republicans resurrected Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt, Barak Obama was going to win that presidential election because of the economy, and Bush fatigue.

Palin isn't articulate but neither is VP Joe Biden. It's a toss up who'd be a better VP.
