Anyone attended the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas?

If so, any tips, suggestions, and /or recos to do or not do?

I've been to Vegas a few times during the Finals. Never went to the performances though. Was usually there for a meeting. Took in a few sideline activities though.

The cowboy Christmases are pretty good. Last I heard, there were at least 3 different ones to get to.

There are some personal appearances at some of these by competitors. Flint Rasmussen used to host a show where he interviews contestants and others involved. It was always entertaining. Don't know if he still does this. If he does, I would catch a couple shows.

That's all I have.

Some of the best run rodeos I've been to. The actual rodeo goes too fast for me. Very enjoyable but there are lots of cowboy and cabelas Christmas events. Can be overwhelming. Each has some cool clinics and demos. I sat in on a roping clinic and saw a cow dog demo.
