What is the best browser, Chrome or FireFox?
firefux with adblocker on w7 pro
Depends on what I'm doing. I use Chrome, Firefox and IE. When I'm on the Fire, I use Chrome.
I've used and evaluated IE, Firefox and Chrome at work. I recently reviewed the new version of the Opera browser (which had some compatibility issues in the past) and found it to be more stable and faster than the other three. I have been using it for a month now without any issues.

I use several different computers, with different operating systems, and for the 'Fire, I find Chrome to be the best on all of them.
I have not tried Opera, though.
Outlaw, what OS have you used it on? Also, any experience on the mobile version?
One the Fire,
Chrome with Add blocker.

We deploy Windows 7x64 Enterprise still at work because I decided to skip Vista and 8 altogether. Now evaluating 10 for all our applications. IMO 10 is not ready yet.
I have the mobile version on my phone and it works fine. There is a "mini" version of it but I had issues with that one.
Firefox, adblocker+, Windows 7 pro, but by far the fastest, most reliable, no hiccups, etc is Safari on my Mac.
Chrome here, but Firefox is ok too. Adblocker has made the most difference for me.
You gotta have two, at least, two in addition to IE if you're on Windows. Different cores and engines. Pale Moon and Chromium (not Chrome).
I went with FireFox, working good on this site.
I'd speculate its the beaver. While they do eat some herbaceous materials, the bulk of their diet is what we'd call woody material. The moose might be next.
Sorry, couldn't help myself,
I've used Firefox for years but am getting tired of the constant nagging to download new versions.
If anyone wants to try the Opera browser and you use adblocker right now, there's a version of "adblock" for Opera that works pretty good for me. Drill into the "opera" button in the upper left corner and choose "get extensions".
I used Firefox for a number years but now I prefer Chrome.
IE 7 works fine for me for every site where I go except ..... 24 Hour Campfire. Might look into one of the others listed here by several posters. Maybe.

Heh!
I've been using Iron quite a bit. It's Chrome with the feedback stuff stripped off. It doesn't track you. Most of the Chrome add-ons work on it, like Adblock.
One the Fire,
Chrome with Add blocker.
This. Zero issues.
(However I have no Opera experience yet)

+1 here
