Is there a trick I'm missing or does it just tear open? All other boxes of bullets seem to have a lid, slide open, or fold back closed. I've never figured out how to get a box of NAB's open without tearing a side off.
ask JeffO
here we go....................
Quick, edit or delete while you have a chance! smile
Roll Tide.

Oh my God.

There are two of them.
Seems like I remembered this being a popular topic...... grin
Move on to amaxs But only after bad mouthing them for at least 5 years..

You will "discover" they're the greatest, just in time for them to be discontinued smile
Most of us Nosler shooters have pocket knives...with sharp blades.
Use a Ten-pound sledge hammer, works every time

It really is a trick... grin
Just cut the top off the plastic bag.
So biting off a corner and shaking it like tic-tacs is a no-go?

That's ok for Ballistic tips and Varmageddons, but for Accubonds and Custom Competitions, you have to evenly slice of the top of the bag.
Only if you close the hole with blue tape.

BS

Acetylene torch is the only way

You will have to ask cross the particulars on the PROPER acetylene torch to use , that part is above my paygrade.

Mike
If you can't figure out how to open the box, maybe you shouldn't.
I have always been able to figure out opening the box. smile

I just wish the cheap bastards would put a load data sticker in there, like Speer & Sierra do. Considering what a box of 'Bonds costs, they should be able to afford a $.10 sticker smirk

No real "trick", just make sure you use BLUE TAPE to seal the box back up.

Clyde
Maybe this could be the platform needed to push

"Sensible gun laws"

Background check question #1

Can't open the box....YES

Then you're to stupid to own a firearm

Recall that he did tell us he was't going away just because he was 'gone'. He referenced the possibility of an second screen name that we wouldn't decipher. I think he chose perfectly.
Just punch a small hole and shake them out one at a time.
Belt sander.

P
I use a skinny wheel on my Dremel tool. Don't forget to use proper eye safety glasses and take your time at it. Don't cut too deep as you go along and even you shouldn't have much of a problem.
Looks like I need to go buy some more tools.....

I thought Stick recommended yellow tape?

Only JO would be idiot enough to believe his idiocy would not shine through any attempt at hiding...

Even SBH gets a minute before his new persona gets properly labeled... JO's laptop would probably flip over and piss on its belly before the submit button was pushed.
JeffO is posting again under his original screen name....

I understand that and have noticed a number of his posts lately... he has not gotten any brighter...

Was referencing Klik's post that JO had mentioned he might hide behind a new screen name.
Is this guy one of big stink's inbred kids? Damn.

No, JeffO is not the only one. TAK gets sniffed out pretty quick as well.
Hook, line, and sinker. wink I did have another screen name a while back but can't claim any mentioned so far. Didn't think I had a bad reputation but it seems like that may soon change.

That's what I was thinking.
Maybe there is a YouTube video that would help.

Makes one wonder.

Do not care if he hides... just going elsewhere would work.

Thinking about it, I have yet to see an Accubomb exit... that is enough for me to leave them off my list.

Their, I fixt it
Don't mess with that box yourself, that's a job for a professional.
Head on over to the nearest UPS, FedEx, or Amazon office, they know boxes.
This thread is worthless without pics...
Has Nosler redesigned their box or something? I just bought my first box of Accubonds and the box seems superior to other brands to me, in box ruggedness and reclosing ability. You just slice the underside of the box on each end and slide the top upward to open.
You have the version that replaced the one that gave JeffO fits.

I won't use a bullet that doesn't come with a superior box.
nothing like a superior box...
Life is too short to drink shi**y beer, or go through with an inferior box.
So this is the official box thread...
I like boxes. Boxes are my friends. I'm what's considered box trash, so I don't get to hang around the cool boxes from Nosler.

Maybe someday.
Pat McManus mentioned one of his personal inventions that could likely be adapted to this purpose. It was a fish hook remover. It weighed 800 lb and used a 10hp engine but it neatly removed fishing lures from their plastic packages.

Nothing wrong with any box, just some boxes are better than others.
I've heard they all look alike in the dark.

The hell. Condition is everything.
I've found little difference between boxes that open easily and boxes that took more effort. Making the boxes difficult to open is just marketing.

If you get the boxes wet first - they open easier.

Hard-to-get?
The Chinese specialize in packages that are hard to open. Most can't be opened at all without destroying them. I wonder where Nosler gets theirs.

Because my 15 yo son managed to open a couple boxes of BT's today and load 100 rounds for his 243.
grin

I could go take some pictures of empty boxes. cool
