When he was Boehner's lawyer, did Cruz work with Boehner directly, or did he work with Boehner's staff? How many hours did they work together, if any?

Was involved with a prosecution a couple of years ago. To the best of my knowledge, the top manager in our group never once met with the attorney prosecuting it, but I spent hours with him.
