Reality check for those who doubt Trumps ability to win in the general against Hillary. Trump has now beaten the strongest field of Republican candidates in many years and survived an unprecedented attack from the establishment wing of the party and the general mainstream media. He did it without super pacs or other huge special interest donations. When it's all totaled up I suspect he's won with the least dollars spent per vote. He's driven the highest voter turnout in Republican primary history and drawn many new voters to the party. He's driven the switch to Republican from Democrat of thousands of voters.
Hillary on the other hand struggled to put away an old socialist , is under threat of indictment , is a terrible debater , unlikable and mistrusted , and is generally a very weak candidate.
The lefts hate machine will be full on attacking Trump but I believe middle America has had its fill of Clinton sleaze and has wized up to mainstream media lies.

The country's been in a decline since Reagan left office. Both parties have been selling us down the river at home and abroad. Whatever else The Donald is, he'll be different.

The best endorsement for Trump is the number of establishment people that are up in arms over the stuff he's proposing.

I think die hard Trump supporters are largely useful idiots. Some exiting came out tonight saying a lot of voters just wanted it to be over. To that, I cant blame them and understand the motive.

Just know this, the gigantic bloated govt programs, are NOT going to be an issue in this campaign. Both candidates support those. That is a MASSIVE loss for the country. The elephant in the room is going to ignored even longer.

But make no mistake, I will vote for Trump on election day. Be first in line if I have to. Hell, I am also going to try to convince some people I know to vote for Trump. I will find others. Damn skippy I will try. There is no other choice.

My fear now is that Hillary won't be the Democrats nominee. If Trump really gets into her in the next few weeks it's possible that she will be indicted or behind the scenes forced to quit for "health reasons" . There's still time for Democrats to switch horses..

I am certainly not convinced that we have yet seen all the candidates that might be played. And I am not convinced that Trump can or will win in the general.

He certainly can win it, but he's in for a very nasty turnabout with the press...all that free coverage is about to go straight to hell. When it comes to the general, he'll be dealing with 90% of the press out for his blood.

Not saying he can't handle it, but I don't suspect it will be too pretty either.
