Yeah, noticed that the mouse attached to my hand while scrolling was trembling.

You gotta talk to Crossfire about something to put on them injuries. He's got some miracle stuff that will heal them right up.

Doesn't look too fun at all. I know it hurts like hell today.
Oh hell, I've had worse at Sunday School....
I hope you get well soon, Roger!
that will leave a mark, Roger. Prayers and good thoughts for a quick and complete healing of that hand.
Hard to be a working man when your hand is out of action.
Yeah, pretty serious looking. Take care of them.
Mike
Ouch. Hope the pain isn't gettin' ya too much.
Damn! Hope you heal quickly! I'd want to shoot that dog personally for leaving those marks on me!
animal bites get infected easily, keep an eye on those.
Hope you heal up quick!
Yep. He gotcha pretty good. Glad it wasn't worse.
Heal up!
Oh hell, I've had worse at Sunday School....
What kind of " Sunday school?"
Dayom, Roger! That looks like it might hurt a bit.
Glad you were able to fight him off Roger.
He was after your throat, you stopped him. Good for you
I must also say Damn, take care of those hands.
Ouch!
Pretty nasty looking.
i had to break up a dog fight the other day. i had already ready about your incident. i stuck my LEFT hand in there, because i felt like i had to, but i had your story on my mind the whole time. i got lucky with no injuries.
hope you heal up quickly and completely!
when i was a young man i tried to break up dog fights. after being where Roger is i decided to just let the fight reach its own conclusion.
hope you heal completely sir.
Been watching the posts for the last few days. I hate to see anyone injured, no matter the reason.
Sure glad that you're safe and on your way to recovery. Keep up posted with information about your recovery and healing.
Jeff
Hey! no big deal, it'll feel better as soon as it quits hurting.
Any second thoughts about having given the dog a 2nd chance?
That'll buff right out.
Sorry, couldn't help it. Hope you heal up well and swiftly.
I lost my left forefinger (trigger finger) in a farming accident in the late 70's. Luckily I shoot right handed. Because of the loss I learned which side is correct for port and starboard. I have 3 knuckles on my left hand red; (port) and 5 digits on my right hand green (starboard). Always heard port is red, but it never snuck in my brain which side of the boat to put the red light on. Guess amputation is a learning experience for me. Hope I don't have too much more to learn.
So you gonna be up to playing the guitar when all that heals up?
Maaan, looks like you were groping a buzz saw.
Hope ya get it all back to normal.
You'll need some merthiolate to heal up properly but the Dr. seems to sew pretty well!
Heal up Quick!
Soak it in Cider.
Get well soon man.
Awe heck that ain't to bad Rog, coupla days and you won't even remember.
Heal up quick and go fishin'!
Soak it in Cider.
Get well soon man.
Looks like he stuck it in the pickle slicer.
Damn. I'm sorry now that I advocated for Petey.
Get mo betta!
They gonna leave the pins in or take 'em out later?
Rog, The Docs no doubt have you on an antibiotic,...bites are dirty business.
Dunno what their "topical treatment" looks like, but my Rx would be :
...MicrocynAH,....day in, day out,....you CANNOT put too much of the stuff on.
And keep those wounds DRY.
Damn that one digit just looks all to familiar !

After a few not so stellar outcomes, my wife has acknowledged that I MAKE THE DECISIONS, at least about the important stuff.
She still decides wash cycles and such.

before i went in surgery i asked the doc and he said in a couple months, i'll see him next week and ask him again.
youch!
if McDonalds had made that, they'd call it McNasty.
damn ole dog anyway.
take care of your digits Roger, gonna be sore for awhile
Dang Roger! That makes me hurt just to look at it!!! Hope you heal up quickly!!!

Damn. That's gonna cramp your style, dude! Make sure you finish the antibiotics. With those fractures infection in the bones is a real risk, and osteomyelitis is a nasty bitch that leads to amputations.
Stay away from liquor (even home brew!) until the antibiotics are done, too! And like Greg says, keep those wounds dry! I'll talk to you later.
Dayum! Looks like your love life, picking your nose, and bowling will be out of the question for a while. Probably pissed your chance away at being a hand model too!
Seriously, heal up; that guy up north is gonna need some help catching fish.

The hardest part is letting stuff heal a bit before getting active. Hang in there...
Awww, hell no! Before seeing that I woulda shot the dog. Now I'm thinking beat him to death.

If it's bent at a joint it can probably be repaired. I injured my left index finger bad enough that I went to the emergency room where they bandaged it up and referred me to a plastic surgeon. The plastic surgeon wanted to operate to repair the damage but I just put a splint on it and let it heal by itself. During the healing process the tendons attached themselves to each other. After 7 years of having a finger I couldn't bend I finally went to an orthopedic surgeon who operated and separated the tendons. After 6-8 weeks of painful physical therapy it's as a joint is damaged beyond repair they can replace any joint with a titanium/chromium implant (including the knuckle joint).
