each week we see our freedom and rights eroding away!

how long before they abandon any pretense of a representative govt?

(and yes, i know that if you're paying attention, we're already there)
Already has , most are too blind / stupid to see it
Let Hillary get i and you will soon have your answer.
that happened Sept 11, 2001.

Just a preview, unfortunately. Not sure who or where it will come from. When your government abandons the people, disaster can come from any quarter, to include the government, too.

It's a shame of epic proportion, all or most of the states don't have independent militias. We will regret that deeply.
I believe there will be some resistance to this crap at some point. I am still amazed at how much misery we are willing to tolerate.
i need to build a can...
actually my dating was off, america as we knew it ended October 26, 2001
To answer the Keith's question, before the first Tuesday in November.

Maybe never.
My teacher told us about gradualism. They will take away our rights so slowly that it would not seem worth dying for and eventually everything is gone.
As soon as Iran and No Korea can get nuclear bombs ready to create an EMP over the US. Could be as soon as this year and as long as 4 years but it's going to come unless we get someone who has the balls to keep it from happening.
We need to launch first

DING DING DING...
I really don't fashion myself as a "the sky is falling" kind of person, but our best days are long behind us, and something big will be coming. Those who don't take steps to prepare won't last long. I'm adding to my survival gear, food and water stores, etc. out of every paycheck.

probably nothing major. The left, with a huge number of the population being complicit, is boiling us one degree higher at a time.
Just make sure the other side feels their fair share of the misery. They got us here and they and sit in the mud too.

We're frogs in a pot and the temperature is slowly rising..
It has been a death of a thousand cuts. If you don't have your chit squared away by now then you never will.
STAY READY
what's driving it probably isn't the borders of the us. the western world is slowing cedeing control to the eastern world. wealth/economic power is flowing east and has been for a spell.

it'll continue on for a while, although Trump with enough swagger might slow it down a bit, along with the help of the independent English.

and of course the liberals don't understand. they're blaming all of our problems on God, guns, and southern whites.

This is one good answer... just look back to Martin Neimoellers quote RE Nazi Germany.

Their share would not be survivable and what is required for this country to exist as founded.

And that would include a couple of launches or drops....

Yet you have these idiots that are not left liberals, but still want the US closed... dont' worry about the world... you HAVE to worry about the world or it will eat you alive.

Its been a constant war, and alwyas will be, when one gets weak, another thats at least the same strength or a bit more takes over the weak one. Don't think it can't happen here. Was a time it could not... but then we've forgotten about Dec 7 and the Japanese long ago already...

After the guns are gone I guarantee there will be major changes. population shifts, and genocides. The left are radical murders just waiting for their opportunity to destroy everything of value and everyone who have values. Think Nazi's with no people of worth and capacity to oppose them. This is what we, and our children will face if we do nothing.
Thats why you don't ever allow the guns to be taken without a fight, either verbal, voting or bloody real fight as needed.

We let them make the call of how they want to take this on and then respond in kind.

But FIRST folks have to wake the hell up and realize the guns are not for hunting, they are for protection, and protection from your government going out of bounds like it has been lately...
Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Right on +2
Google and read the 225 year lifecycle of successful countries. It is a real eye opener.
I doubt "guns" will ever be a camel back breaking issue. Figure a way to disrupt electricity, food transportation, or social media, and the masses will rise.
9/11/16 is the 15th anniversary and NFL opening weekend.

Therein lies the rub. I hope against hope the major occurrence will be BEFORE the guns are gone. We are the most heavily armed nation in history, and I'd like to at least think we would resist an actual disarming of the citizenry. Certainly many will comply with tyrannical Govt. edicts...but that still leaves millions of us who wont...
I find it hard to admit defeat just yet...only 3% of the Colonists participated in the American Revolution, while the other 97% sit on their hands, waiting to see who won. Our odds ain't quite that bad yet.........

yeah, well it probably depends upon our background education, ya know?

the gd sob federal gov't back when i was 21 was rounding up fodder for the cannon, and the great majority complied. we would have shot dead anyone the local E-5 sergeant pointed out as a true viet cong.

the current troops are no different. really. they'll follow orders, right up through the bureaucracy to the top.

so, if ya don't won't to die, don't piss of the federal bureaucracy. comprende?

as you know we're running a unified command. anyone sworn will be expected to deliver the goods. that's what it has come to, love it or leave.
The 911 destruction of the towers was about busting our economy. The tag-team osama\obama got us where we are
today.
I just dropped an 'Obama' into my commode and flushed it! It's already headed down river to New Orleans!!

Shooting what you think was or actually was a viet cong in another country isn't even close to asking a troop to shoot one of his own citizens in their country for not doing anything other than ignoring an unconstitutional "law"

To think the 2 are similar indicates some issues.
I think we are already past the point of where voting can help us. Even if Trump wins him and the Republican Party will only pay lip service to there "taking back America" promise.
Of course I will still do my duty and vote.
What I believe is that it will take a major catastrophic event much bigger than 911, natural or man made to effect any real change.
call it a matter of perspective but if a guy with a knife entered my apartment/house yelling alluh akbar it'd be a major thing to me...but that was someone else's place and it was last week.

Hard to say when something major will happen...what's major anyway?

i get your point, but some of the colonist actively opposed the formation of a new nation. i have no doubt there will be plenty who will side with/for the status quo, (for lack of wanting to use another term)
