Around the Grants Pass, Oregon there is almost no wind in the mornings and very little during the day. Very nice for shooting.

It only blows here when one is handling papers, attempting to start a fire, or planning to zero his rifle.

Also two other times: When I'm alone or with somebody.

We used to get "Bermuda" highs in the Summer when there would be no wind for weeks. Can't seem to remember the last time we had a still day in Central NC/SC.

the chart shows it blowing close to 30 here right now but it's dead calm outside.
