Was just on NBC morning show to talk about the rabble, rabble going on over in the House IC committee meeting, how it looks bad for Trump, and there are more shoes to drop, and suspicious of changes to the Rep. platform at the convention

Then at the very end . . . .

Q: So when there other shoes drop, is that a fatal blow to this young admin?

McCain: I don't know? I just said there are always more shoes dropping in big events like these. I just don't know what they are at this point

Q: You said that the comments by Dem. Schiff are looking bad for Trump? Have you seen this new information that he is claiming to be beyond circumstantial?

McCain: No, I've not seen it. We have nothing new on the Senate side

NBC: Thank you Senator for being here

It was unreal.
BUTTHURT doesn't even begin to describe him.
McCain is well past his expiration date.

He went through 5 1/2 years in a hell hole prison in Viet Nam.

He was tortured daily and I'm pretty sure that 5 1/2years seemed like 500 years

I read his book about the time he spent there and it is scary as hell. And I'm sure it seemed like hell.

I dealt with him directly when I was with the Navy and he was very impressive but also very edgy, all of which is understandable.

I think we can justifiably give him some slack. We owe him big-time.

Steve

Thanks for posting that Steve....

too many seem to forget that little 5 year point...

doesn't mean I support him, much of the time...

"but less we forget...."....
Phouc that carpetbaggin' SOB, and whatever the source of misfortune that brought his sorry war loving azz to Az.
I "owe" him jack schiddt.

GTC
McLame is a worthless piece of crap..
They also forget the Forrestal.
No, we don't really owe him schit. He owes us, or more accurately, he owes the people of Arizona. If his past negatively affects the way he does his job, he owes it to them to step down.

I agree.

He doesn't need to be in office, I don't like his politics, but I'll not denigrate the man's service.

He lost something like five aircraft in a relatively short career. Had he not been and admiral's son, he never would have been in a position to get captured and become a "hero". He would have been flying rubber dogshit out of Hong Kong or flying a desk somewhere.

We owe that piece of garbage nothing more than a simple dose of euthanasia.

Please show us any benefit having that little Napolean in office has done anyone.

Also just love his little tag along Lindsey Graham, what a pair of douchebags.

Forget about the aircraft ... what about the lives of 134 sailors and numerous others that were injured on the USS Forrestal? See:

http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/20081007_investigating_john_mccains_tragedy_at_sea

https://www.theburningplatform.com/...-an-aircraft-carrier-killed-134-sailors/

I fully appreciate what he went through and sacrificed for this[our] country.
He NOW chooses[ of his own accord] to be a U.S. Senator.
Is he above reproach?
I don't understand why if so?
Please explain.
My comment above was in reference to his having his azz handed to him 8+ years ago by Obama. IMO he never has gotten past that.
If he isn't a fan of the current admin that's fine, but when he says stupid sheit like he did this morning he is undermining his own party.
What bothers me about McCain is now not the past. He lies to the people of Arizona to get elected. Hasbeen
i live in his district
i remember him when he moved here from virginia
i remember him even as a congressman
it is a protected district in that people will vote in the majority of a republican candidate over what ever demcratic scum is running against the republican.
a lot of money, lot of old boy support, and noone has been an effective challenger in the primary.
i had hope this last time around with a very good candidate running against him, but she couldn't quite make it.
he has been an embarrassment for years.
McCain and Bob Dole both need to be put out to pasture. Losers both in failed runs for the presidency, both banked on "war hero" status being their key to success.

Kelly Ward WON the primary here in Cochise, Ron,...he's in no way popular hereabouts.

The time to take his crazy ass out was in the primaries.

No Slack, nada, none.
Even if the prisoner stories are true, he has far out used them.

Bob Dole hopped on a grenade. I bet his buddies hold him in high regard. McCain rode his father's status around quite a bit, and sold out his fellow prisoners. I don't hold it against him that he broke under torture, but it doesn't make him a hero. At this point, he is an enemy of the President. That makes him my enemy too.

what he may, or may not have experienced in North Vietnam does not excuse his atrocious behavior since then. He does not get a free pass forever

While nobody appreciate those that served more than I. McCain is long past his usefulness in the Senate. At least as long as he has a R next to his name. A Republican or a Conservative...he is not.

Hitler served with distinction in the German army. He doesn't get a pass for his sins and neither should McCain. He is conspiring with the progressive fascists toviolate the will of the American people as expressed in the 2016 election.

Bogus. McCain volunteered to stay a POW even though he was given the chance to go. Even a mental midget, given the NVA would give zero credibility to that video.

All politicians are ego-maniacs; McLame & Graham give new meaning to the word.

Under guise of being for the country, in reality, it's all about them & their importance........always has been, always will be.

IMO, McLame is waaaaaaaaaay worse that Graham.

That's fair enough. "not believed" so why are we to believe that he chose to stay?
To many lies connected to him to believe anything except what we see now.

Because Medal Of Honor recipient VADM Stockdale said as much. Works for me, and I hate the SOB as well.
Send him a bottle of prune juice, he's so full of chit that should keep him busy for a while.
No reason to support some old POW vet when we have a perfectly good, self made, hard working, patriotic, selfless, New Yorker who deserves our support and, indeed, our admiration. GD

Without a doubt, neither should we support other war heroes like Benedict Arnold..

"Thank you for your service, but time to go home."

John Phoucing McCain was not the only POW tortured by the NVA. Jeremiah Denton never played the self serving attention whore that McCain does.

Yes thanks for your sacrifice but your time is up and you need to get the hell out of D.C.! You are a stuttering old fool who is trying to remain relevant.

If true, thats a sad thing.
Being good at one thing does not in any way qualify one to be good at another.

His military service, whether good or bad, does not qualify him to be a good politician.

With respect, no sir. We owe him nothing. The service he gave is out weighed and over shadowed by what he has been and done the last 10+ years. McCain has fallen far.
McCain and Pelosi are classic examples of why we need term limits, or maybe age limits..... crazy
He's done much more TO the USA than he did FOR her.
Using his time of service/suffering to enable a career of wealth/privilege doesn't make him a hero, for life. There are plenty who suffered greatly in the Southeast Asia War Games, but very few have been on easy street ever since, and even fewer have done it through self-serving political position.

AMEN^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I can think of at least a dozen others to add to that list.
