Well, that didn't take long. I'd imagine Dr. Dao is now shopping for his private island somewhere in the Carribbean.

That's got to be one of the fastest lawsuit settlements in history. What say all those who claimed United would win in court?

"The Kentucky doctor dragged off an airplane in Chicago, in a startling incident captured in a viral video that sparked global headlines, has settled with United Airlines for an undisclosed amount.
According to a statement from his attorney, Dr. David Dao "has reached an amicable settlement" with the airline "for the injuries he received in his April 9th ordeal.""

I think the stock tanking helped the speed of the settlement just a bit also.
Again, United will be awesome to fly in 6 months.

Especially if they change out their child-size seats.

I'm sure United made the good doctor an offer he couldn't refuse. He'll probably retire soon to spend more time with his family.

Whatever Dao settled for, it would be loose change compared the $1.4B ? co. devaluation
on the market.
