My surprised youngest just received his acceptance into the Texas A&M school of Mechanical Engineering. A 3.5 GPA was required aligned with the engineering curriculum. He nailed a 3.7 full, a point above his dumpazzed Dad back when. Having spent 30+ years in O&G he will succeed. with little doubt.
Congrats on raising another Aggie!
It's a very tough school and Engineering school to get into! Isn't your older son already there at TAMU ?
It's a good thing mom raised him, mostly.
Congratulations!
Sycamore
Congrats Ed. To you and your son both.
It's a good thing mom raised him, mostly.
Stealhead that was completely uncalled for., even if you have a problem with Ed, there is no reason to disparage his sons accomplishment.
Precisely why he is on ignore.
Congrats, a chip off the ole' block.
Steelhead or $hithead, it's all the same. His greatest achievement in life is 85,000 posts on a website.
EdM,
Congratulations, it is a fine thing to watch your son grow up and hopefully accomplish more than you did. I think that is the wish of every father.
Congratulations Ed. His grade points are higher than mi IQ!
Congrats on raising them right Ed!
That's great Ed. Congratulations to the young man. Quite an accomplishment.
Congratulations for your son's achievements. Welcome to the SEC family
Congrats Ed. Great University that looks like a ton of fun!!

P.
Good job.
A neighbor girl across the street is going there also.
We had grad yesterday. Collectively they received 12.3 million in scholarships (6a). The top two had a GPA of 5.68 and 5.66, I never heard of that before. They where both Asian. One young man is going to West Point.
Ain't it great when they do better than we did?
My girl is so smart she pretends I am. Hope your boy does the same for you.
You deserve it for raising him right!!
Sounds like he is off to a great start. Congratulations.
Excellent! Congrats to the son, and a hearty WELL DONE! To the parents!
Whoop! Another Aggie - soon to be "boss".
