Hi all. I finally got some pictures of my boys hand onto my computer so I thought I would share. It is now completely healed up and he has full range of motion with it.

The face that broke my heart...

I just threw this one on because it is four generations of my family. My boy has really taken a shine to my grandfather. Must be the moustache...

bless his heart ...

Exhaust pipe?
Posted By: SamSteele Re: My boys' hand. (Update) - 05/12/06
Yep. Motorbike exhaust.

Wanted to thank all of you who said some prayers for quick healing. Took about two weeks for it to be back to normal.

Man you must have been quaking when you saw that. Thank God for his hand in healing....I hope he didn't suffer too much with that burn.

SamSteele - I very happy that everything turned out so well! Cute kid!

Good to hear that he's doing better. The one pic 'Ouch' poor lil guy.
Kids come through physical trauma real well I've noticed. Glad to hear he's back to normal. Devastating to parents when things like this happen.

Sam, he looks like a little you....only much cuter!
You must have turned a few red hairs gray on this one, here's to lessons learned and a merciful God.

Glad to see all is well... I see what you mean about the picture with the bandage... pretty sad. My daughter broke her arm at the age of 4... I remember a similar look on her face after getting it casted. 3 years later and she barely remembers it.

Very cool that Great Granddad is around and so youthful!

Actually that Great Grandfather just got diagnosed with Parkinson's. I figured that pictures and video of the pair are going to be valuable in the future.

It's hard to have too much good news!

Sam Steele, thanks for sharing some of yours with the rest of us.
Glad to hear there was a complete recovery. Hope it doesn't effect his trigger squeeze on his new Thompson Centre.

As you can see in the following picture, the trigger finger is doing fine. We may need to work on form a little though...

you'll have to teach your little gunfighter to "go snake-eyed", remember the movie "Little Big Man".
Nice hat, BTW.

Naw, that's just the modified Weaver. Just post it on the handgun forum, and pretty soon all the pistoleros will be copying him.

Sure is cute, though! Betcha can't wait to fill his hand with something a little more powerful.

Thanks for the good report. I love those! That pic of his hand all blistered up reminds me of when my son grabbed Mom's curling iron. Owwww!!! So glad for his healing! Don't spoil him too much but be sure to a little! Hard not to when they're that cute!

Dang.....that is worse than I had had it pictured in my head. I am so glad he came through it 100%!!

He really is a doll.....the kid has some HUGE eyes....bet they get him pretty much anything he wants , eh!?

Thanks for the update, Sam!

Yep. Motorbike exhaust.

I did that once, but it was my leg, not my hand.

Glad your little guy is doing better
