Cops over there are getting quicker to use deadly force. I can remember when German cops all carried .32ACP or .380ACP semi autos and were trained to shoot to wound.

Now the Brussels cops are killing bad guys, London is arming more and more cops, and the Mayor of Vienna tell his cops to shoot anyone who yells Allahu Akbar!.

when the sauer P6's started rolling years ago, they often came with a police swivel holster. They had a double snap you pulled one way, then another way. Asked a friend of mine in bavaria about this, and he said they really weren't suppose to draw their guns, intentionally making it somewhat difficult, only as an extreme measure. They were suppose to contain the threat and call in their version of a swat team.
Most of those p6's sold here were shot at max about 50rounds a year. you could look at the date on the barrel and figure out how many rounds through it.
