Why do some of you guys even bother to post on the NFL threads if you hate it so bad?

I swear, some of you search them out just to say "I hate the NFL and I'm boycotting it"

I don't hate the NFL but I don't like what they've become so I don't watch them or comment on the never ending NFL threads.

I quit the NFL way before before Al Gore invented the internet so why would I get in a pissing match with a complete stranger that I'll never meet over it?

It's really no 'bother' - besides, hypocrisy is my only vice.

If enough people boycott the NFL, they just may stand up for American values and stifle the third world apes like other pro sports have done. They've already lost viewership. Also, I don't believe in discriminating against Chinese Americans, like ESPN did, just because their name is Bob Lee. It's amazing how much fun you can have, by the way, doing something else with your time than watching pro football.

Not going to bother reading this thread. Haven't watched the NFL in years and don't plan to any time soon. Bunch of overpaid thugs.

The simple answer is that they hope to convince those of you who still watch the NFL to quit. Its the same reason atheists crap all over threads about God who they claim to not care about. .... the hope to create "converts". Secondarily there is the need for "attaboys" from people who agree with them.

I like the NFL because it keeps the " bread and circuses" crowds at home while I am deer , elk , upland duck hunting and fishing.

Don't care much for the NFL these days because some of their members support the killing of police officers and openly disrespect military vets, beating the schit out of women and children etc. Plus the NFL has an open anti gun agenda. Kind of like bragging on here you support politicians that want to ban firearms and not understanding why people on here would disagree with your views when you post

Rooster, it's fat man's volleyball. They snap it, throw it downfield and that's it. Boring as hell. I spend all of my time watching big time college football. It's exciting and innovative as well as competitive. The NFL is a lost cause as far as I'm concerned. Even watching Dallas doesn't excite me like it use to and they're good. powdr

Many of you would boycott a company and its products out of principle in a heartbeat if one of the executives came out bashing Trump or the company took an anti 2nd amendment stance. Yet, when the NFL stands by and does nothing when its player disrespect the flag and the national anthem, you call the rest of us pussies for boycotting. Again, I actually enjoy watching the games, but I refuse to contribute to an organization that turns a blind eye to its players that insist on shoving their politics down my throat. If they would get on the field and play football and leave the other schit to an offline interview with one of the commie reporters at ESPN, I would happily join you with a beer and watch.
