If you were truly treating your best friend, you would buy him another drink and a 6.5" 29-2 to go with the 8 3/8. I might know where one can be found.

Kinda like Telling me I get to GF a 22 year old Suzanne Somers...with 44 Double Ds...
I never figured you for a hyperbolist.
aww on the right Subject....I can be...
getting old, you start thinking about what would make the world a "perfect world"...
Kinda like a "What's Heaven Like?", kinda thing....
I think I am going to go sit down and watch that 4 CD set of Dirty Harry Movies my son bought me a while ago....and think of Madonna Sitting at home stroking her 8.5 inches...

Tell me.
He's drinking and spending wildly.

If you plan to impersonate DH, you need both a 6.5" and 8 3/8. He mainly carried a 6.5 but used an 8 3/8 for effect. Mine is a clean 6.5" without a presentation case. I have had it for a few years, but my memory is I may have gotten it from Shrapnel so I am sure I vastly overpaid. I think I may have your number still. If so, I will text you pics tomorrow.
The 6.5" blued 29-2 was my dream gun that I couldn't afford for years so it will give me a slight twinge of pain to sell it, but I have had it for several years and haven't shot it. I shoot my 5" 629 when wanting a shorter barrel and 7.5" Bisley or Super Redhawk when I think a long barrel to be beneficial. The 29-2 is just too pretty to shoot.
I think you would probably enjoy it so would cut you a deal if you want it.

My wife had asked me what I wanted for my birthday so I asked that she sit on my face. Instead she got me a Big Green Egg. Not sure how to take this really.
It also appears I drunk ordered some things and they were waiting for me upon my return. Good work 'Flave.
These are to good times. It's a shame they're so hard to remember!
Any more of these and I'll stop talking about all that.
Clark
I woke up yesterday and see there was a phone call on my phone that lasted 3 minutes. Of course I do not remember any of it. Apparently I told someone that I wanted to sauna with somebodies wife?
You'll like the BGE. I have meat in the freezer from an old rutting mule deer that even in chilli smells enough like rutting deer that I was not excited about eating it. I took some of the back strap and smoked it over the indirect plate with mesquite at 250-275 for about 30 minutes, and everybody loved it. I have cooked meat from that deer 3-4 times since and it is really good on the egg.

She's gettin' warmed up as I type.
Had to take the kids to a parade. If there is something dumber than a parade, I don't know what it is. Fugk I hate that schit.
Looks like you're gonna get the 38 S&W running, it's a fun little cartridge.
You could have fooled me. Bullets don't fit virgin brass. 2.0gr's of powder is testing the range of my thrower. I think I need a Dillon set up for it so I can knock these out more quicker. I got 500 brass now. Will test for POI today. After a few IPA's.
It's probably the patridge front sight throwing you off. If it were a 27, it would have the tapered barrel and shorter cylinder. I am pretty sure it is a 29, though, I guess it could be a 57 also.

It really is a fine piece. I bought it when I lived in Calgary some years ago. Imported it and never shot it. Happy knowing it will see much use. He needs to throttle a deer with it. Pphhukkcc rabbits.
If you really gave a fugk you'd have started this thread yourself.
Dave
Non visiting pseudo phriend. If I gave a phougk I'd have texted you. I was giving you an opportunity to post a Utube vid and boast. pfffft over your head! opportunity lost! GPY!

Great read.. Happy Birthday Travis.. I am sure you will have a good one.. You shoot sounds awesome.. Out of my league, but fun to see... Have a great birthday, you should have these more often sounds like lots of fun.. Hang in there..
Happy belated birthday Travis. A campfiire shoot out would be good. I'll call Shrap and he will send the map of the location. It's still left of the windmill, right?
Took the boy and one other for a walk today. Dog was full retard (first week or two he's worthless) but I managed three shots and two birds.
Found an egg:
The Colt continues to impress:
Pronghorn opens soon. Cool weather and rain allows for some bird chasing. Things are good.
Dave
Sweet!
As to the dog, I always figured a labs default was full retard? Does he actually point? If so, that is bad azz!
My buddies lab I've chased birds with is hilarious. Great nose, super birdy and driven, ...........and he'll give you 200 yard shots at birds all day if you can't run as fast as he can. Lol.
Any stocked bird and some wilds simply get retrieved with out being shot. Its hilarious.

The shrap is elusive.
He would make the shoot but only to make an appearance. He's not big on target stuff.

That last sentence made me laugh.
My dog may be too excited to be of value the first week or two but that's only because I never "work" with him in the off season. If I lived somewhere else I probably would. But even in full retard mode he is easy to read and will let you know there are birds.
200yd flushes would result in his head getting canoed. Instantly.

Joe used to do this. I'd shoot one, he'd come back with two — both in his mouth, one dead, one alive, sometimes both alive. He could be hell on limits...
They are funny. This Dot is firecracker. When the very first few leaves started falling off the oaks, she sat there watching them pinwheel toward the ground. She was completely enamored, then she discovered acorns. She's got no idea what's coming.
I would post a video, but after posting the results the bloody UN would no doubt have to convene a special session to draft a binding resolution denouncing the astonishing lethality of my shooting skills.
