Home
today that ended. i started setting forms for a apron in front of our garage yesterday and this morning it's raining like a cow pizzing on a flat rock.
now i have a swimming pool.
as dry as it was getting i will take the rain.
should have worked all day on the forms yesterday but went Grouse hunting instead.
three of us and we all bagged out. my hunting buddies girlfriend got one with a 410 with fulll choke on a pass shot that took its head off like a hatchet.
great day!
I wouldnt date or marry any woman who could shoot like that.

Same thing here! Ha!
just came in from seeing how mushy the ground is. wife had to pull me out of the muck with the winch!
well almost that bad. if the rain stops it will be rock in 2 hours.
spread the overburden on our driveway now cant drive on it without leaving ruts.
maybe i will just stay in and chase momma around! she was gone for the last 3 weeks.
best part of the rain is it cleared the smoke out.
That's a long time without rain. You could have some of the 70" we've had this year!

Good to hear the grouse are doing well.
it was a mixed bag of Ruffed and Speckled . mostly Ruff's and not one Blue , which is what we were after.
oh excuse me, not blues anymore. F&G renamed them . now they are to be known as DUSKIES! Racists!
We're finally getting some down here on the Clearwater too.
I sure don't miss all that smoke.

Amateurs... Everyone knows that the best way to force it to rain is to windrow 80 acres of prime irrigated alfalfa. Nary a cloud in the sky for six months and the smell of new mown hay draws them in like flies to honey!
deerstalker are you sure about that "110 days without rain"? Spokane just set a record of 80 days without rain and you aren't very far away.

went to a site that showed the rainfall for days weeks and months. that is what it showed. besides Spokane is in a different world from us. our weather here is completely its own.
