Some good games on tomorrow. Battle of the undefeated between Miss. St. & Georgia should be a good one! And the Tide will probably roll right over Vandy.
LSU might get lucky and finally win a game. And my Aggies will be damn lucky to get out of Jerry's World with a win over Arkansas!

OU at Baylor will be a slaughter. And TCU vs OK St. should be a great matchup.

Virginia is whupping up on Boise St. 28 to 14 right now on ESPN-2. I hate watching a game on that ugly ass blue field. sick
UVA up 35 to 14 over Boise St halfway through the 3rd Qtr. Pretty good game.
Can't make myself watch a game on that blue field.

TCU vs Ok. St. should be interesting. Patterson usually fields a decent defense even when his pickings are slim. So this will be the first team to get a gauge on the Cowpokes with.

I enjoyed watching them put Arkansas away. Can't stand Bielema.

IMO the only real close games tomorrow are TCU-OSU and A&M-Arkansas. Maybe GA-Cowbells and Domers-Sparty.

BUT---I am losing my butt on the Penguin pool so what do I know!!??

I just left the Nats game (loss) for the VA-BSU game.
Yep. Watching a game on that damn blue field makes me nautious sick

My Texas Rangers have been horrible lately David. cry hard to watch them self destruct just about every night! And my Aggies should be able to beat the Razorbacks, if our idiot coach pulls his head out of his arse.

Not retired yet but very soon.

Was telling someone today that before I know it Friday is here. And even sooner it's Monday.

I'm accelerating my very early retirement by about 3 years because time is absolutely flying by. Frankly, I want no part of it.
UVA just scored again. Up 42 to 14 over Boise now. That stadium is deathly quite right now.

That deathly quiet you hear is in memory of the Robert E. Lee statue that has since been removed. wink

I am so happy that all of those people are so happy now!!

Yep. One of my best friends in College named his son after Robert E. Lee. The kiddo has 4 names. Robert E Lee Skxxxxxx.

After the TCU-Arkansas game I would not be too sure about that. Arkansas had an off week to try to fix things, but they had a lot of things to fix. I doubt they got it done. miles
I hope your right, but I ain't holding my breath. I should have bought tickets and drove the 2 hours to AT&T Stadium (Jerry's World)
Hope it's a good game.

Also, TCU is actually pretty good this year. Their QB, Kenny Hill, is the one the Aggies let slip away when he was a freshman. The game between TCU and Oklahoma State today should be a good one too.
Posted By: byc Re: College Football Saturday - 09/23/17
Vandy-Bama should also be fun to watch!!
Posted By: 5sdad Re: College Football Saturday - 09/23/17
It would be nice if it was, but it will probably be just the same old boring Alabama win where they score 40-some points and it's never really in doubt. (Hope that I get to eat that.)

I don't bet (fortunately for me 'cause I suck at picking games), but listen closely.......

TCU at OSU- close for a while, OSU will win by 14 at home
MSU at UGA- MSU can't do it back to back.....GA by at least 10
ATM vs ARK- can't stand lardass ARK coach, so I never pull for them unless they're playing Notre Dame.
I think this will be close to the end and could go either way.
TTU at UofH- nobody giving any love to my Red Raiders.......UH squeaks it out, 100+ total points scored
ALA at Vandy- ALA will destroy them, bringing Vandy back down to reality.
OU at Baylor- OU should beat the rapists as bad as they want to.

Gameday is in NYC. They just reported there are 72,000 people inside every square mile of NYC….WOW!

No thanks!!

Dang poor call! A&M got screwed on that call. Shoukd have been an easy TD.
Posted By: byc Re: College Football Saturday - 09/23/17
Absolutely NOT! I don't believe Greenville even has 72k people living in all of downtown.

Aggies were just robbed. Total BS that an obvious bad call by an official cannot be reversed.

Yep, pretty hard to swallow after Coach Pete and Kellen. Still, they just don't have an offense and not consistant. One word at this point in the season....irrelevant. Hopefully that young defense will be lights out next year. Need an offensive line as well. Congrats to the Virginia fans. On the Blue is a tough win to get.
TCU moving it down field.
Good to see Free Shoes U at 0-2
Everything is under further review.
WTF ? FSU? NC State? laughing
Perfect execution on the deep ball by Ok St. Rudolph had all day in the pocket to throw.
Posted By: byc Re: College Football Saturday - 09/23/17
Thinking the Cowboys could be in the final 4.
Sonny Cumbie has been brilliant calling the TCU offense so far. Patterson's defensive game plan too, even though it hasn't been a total shutdown.

Big Interception by TCU. Go Horned Frogs!

TCU up 27 to 10 over OK St in the 3rd Qtr
dayum I jinxed them, just call me isaac i reckon
whoa David what's going on with Clemson?
TCU is now up 34 to17 over OK St at the start of the 4th Qtr. Hope they can hang on for the upset.

37 to 17 now.
Purdue up 10 to 7 over Michigan in the 3rd Qtr. Be nice to see Michigan get knocked off, too.

21-7, Seems they always struggle with Boston College Randy. It's a weird jinx!

Gamecocks squeak one out!!
Another big TCU Interception! They lead Ok St 37 to 24 with 4 minutes left on the game clock.

Goofy suckers are self destructing in front of our eyes. Playing defense in 2 series when they had the ball.
Cowboys gave up way too much on that kick return.

TCU kicking ass on OSU. grin
Check and mate.
Okies out of timeouts and a huge TD Run by TCU. They lead 44 to 31 with only 2:37 left on the game clock! Wat to go Horned Frogs!
Posted By: byc Re: College Football Saturday - 09/23/17
I did not realize how far OSU was down until just now. What happened? Thought for sure they would win this one and like I stated earlier felt they were a final 4 contender.

On any given Saturday!!

Yep. And I sure wouldn't have bet against OSU. Great game and big win for TCU! I was getting worried about your Clemson Tigers earlier. wink
Georgia scores first against Miss St on a 60 yard flee flicker pass. I'm pulling for Miss St.
Ha ha!!!!!

UGA runs a flea flicker for a TD right outta the gate!!!

WHOOP!!!!!!
Not looking good for Miss St. Georgia is up 14 to 0 in the 1st Qtr.
I think Michigan has found it's QB. Kid from Houston, O'Korn. He's the real deal and enough to make them worthy of their ranking. Their D is already there.

Go Blue!
OU up 28 to 10 over Baylor in the 2nd Qtr. But, of course, Baylor is 0-3 this season. This should be a slaughter.

IMHO, it is ridiculous to call a game a "great rivalry", when the teams are not scheduled to play again for nine years. Some rivalry, now they said dating back to 1897, still don't care...stupido.

OU not exactly looking dominant against Baylor.
Kentucky has come to play, not that the Gators are all that great this year.

Hate to say I told you but I did. Then again I also said Vandy would as well......Total BUST there!!

Freaking Texas!!

shocked laugh grin

Wow! Baylor tied 28 all with the Sooners! Who would have thought it ! I figured OU would blow the Bears out at 72 to Zip, easily.

And your Horned Frogs looked pretty dang good against Ok St.

They strolled down to Waco complacent. With their scandal, Baylor lost a lot of recruits. But Matt Rhule has a pretty good record as a coach, and their QB looks like he is starting to develop.

OU is stacked with so much talent though, they should be able to get it back together. Lincoln Riley needs to give Mike Stoops the boot at the end of the season, and go shopping for a new defensive coordinator.

They can spin it any way they want to, but Florida's winning touchdown was the result poor coaching on the part of UK.

On the flip side, it's now one less week before the Cat's take the basketball court.
in the long and hard fought series between Lexington and Gainesville, there have been very few blowouts. Game after game, Florida finds a way to win, but it has never been easy. This one certainly wasn't. I felt Florida was out coached most of the game, but in the stretch, Florida held and came back. You have to finish the game to win it.
