I turned on TNF to see if the teams stood for the national anthem. CBS did not show the anthem. Did the teams stand to honor our flag, our servicemen and women, our fallen heroes who have given so much for their country.
I am at my end with the NFL. I urge all here on the 24hourcampfire to contact the NFL to express their deepest angst about the protests. This should not be allowed to continue as it disrespects our country, our veterans, our flag and the United States as a whole. MTG
I forgot football was even on tonight, been busy getting stuff ready for elk hunting this weekend. Don't watch anymore anyway so really don't care.

I'm not calling the NFL. I'm done with the NFL. The sooner they belly up, the better!

DMc
Until they put an end to these kneeling aholes, I'm done with the NFL. If not, they can FOAD.
I watched it long enough to see one of the inmates running the show. Granted he got ejected for doing so, but....he did manage to "express himself" in the process. LOL
We called it here first on the Campfire- the cowards would stop showing the anthem.

The news people said tonight, that tonight is what they call the "Sports Equinox". NFL, NHL. MLB and NBA all broadcast on TV tonight. Overlapping seasons.

I honestly don't know how any self respecting American can still be watching these games.

Memphis takes lead;42 points in second half. QB is a player
Posted By: jaguartx Re: Thursday night football? - 10/20/17
Stupid. Your O has 38 points and 3 min in game and other team has 35 pts in second half. So you punt rather than go for a half yard for a first down. Unreal. Mmphis goes to score and first lead of night. Unreal. Memphis scores 42 in second half.
Posted By: jaguartx Re: Thursday night football? - 10/20/17
Houston qb runs 15 for first and fuggin fumbles. Unreal.
Posted By: jaguartx Re: Thursday night football? - 10/20/17
Memphis wins with 42 points in 2nd half.
Posted By: jaguartx Re: Thursday night football? - 10/20/17
[bleep] have 38 points and turn the ball over when they had 4th and a half yard against a team that scored 35 on you in the second half- YGBFSM. Supidist play of the century for Major Applewhite.

Did the nfl boys kneel or not?

I haven't watched an NFL game since this crap started, and with Rodgers out at Green Bay, and the Packers chances of a good season gone down the drain, I have no reason to even check the scores now. This is not going away anytime soon, as the liberal are not going to let it. The protest isn't about Colin Kapaernick, or the flag, or about Negroes being mistreated. It's about how pissed the libs and the extreme leftists are about how "flyover" country rose up and denied a blatant liberal named Hillary from carrying on Obama's legacy, and how instead, they elected someone that's not ashamed of being a White male.

It's the same way with the removal of the Confederate statues. Why weren't they taken down during the reign of the Negro president, as a show of support? It was because no one on that side gave a [bleep]. But, after Trump was elected, they realized that their stock had dropped and thy weren't as important as they thought they were, so they had to do something.

We are facing some perilous times ahead in this country, as the left and the minorities they depend on to keep crap stirred up, are going to do every thing they can to make White America look bad. They better be careful what they wish for.
Last night the NFL got preempted by a rerun of NCIS on Netflix.
Wife and I watched two episodes of Justified on Amazon Prime.

I couldn't make it past the pregame show. It was like Bill Cowher was the only one speaking English.

Varmintguy, you asked WGAF? I do, as I think it is disrespectful to our fallen members of the U.S. military. I watched only long enough to see that the NBC did not show the playing of our national anthem. Turned it off there after. Read a book by Jack O'Conner.
This, IMHO is not what the NFL should be displaying to our country, our youth and our military.
Found out next day that Linch (sp) was ejected for unsportsman like conduct. Good move by the referee. MTG
