Friday - so I found an old bottle of homebrew of mine. Chocolate stout. Decided to give that a whirl. It's 5 years old, tastes AMAZING as it's really smoothed out a lot and is well rounded than when it was fresh. I think this is one of my first 4 brews I ever did.

5 year old beer tonight with this:

Whatcha drinking and listening to tonight?

Hour ago I had two Miller Lites with my dad. We spent all day driving around on a pile of corn and needed to unwind. Absolutely beautiful day here, zero wind and 60-70F.

Home now, shot of Patron and just killed a Silver Bullet. The usual...

That's a good tune!

Just got over, time to grab another bullet.

I've yet to find a song of his I don't like. I assume he's from Kentucky given his lyrics - which are some of the best I've heard since Jason Isbell.

Speaking of which...

I snagged a 4 pack of Ted Fidy from Oskarblues but I drank that at work. I have a German Heffe from Mobcraft here but I think I'm going to save that for another night.

I've got to be at work at 5:00 AM so I thought cracking a bottle of Hornitos Black Barrel would be appropriate for this

When I finally get to sit still for a minute this evening I'll be having Karbach Oktoberfest and this year's Sierra Nevada collaboration Oktoberfest.

I'm drinkin' vodka cut with some kind of cranberry, apple, mulberry, lemon, and avacodo juice with the water from a can of Vienna Sausages and a chicken bullion cube dissolved in it.

It's a drink that's intended to cut me back on drankin'.

It ain't workin'.

,...anyway,....I'm listening to Lacy,...

Wow! Roy Clark and Glen Campbell on that tune. Never sell GC short on guitar. The man was amazing.

Bristoe, thanks for putting up "16th Ave". I had forgotten just how damn good that song is. That is a good one.

This is as good as it gets. Take a few minutes and watch it.

If for nothin' else,..fer how that dress lights up her butt.

Seriously though,...I like to watch how LeAnn's body flows with the music in this song. It's very subtle and I don't think she's always totally aware of how she's moving,...she's so into the song that she just does it.

I don't like everything she's done, but she knocks it out of the park with this performance.

Man, that Townes Van Zandt sure did live a hard life. Hell of a song writer tho. Tough life.
