I don't recall the NFL ever cancelling a prime time slotted game,

Ya, Sunday night is New Years Eve, so attendance would likely be down, viewership in general is down for multiple reasons, Weather sucks in quite a few locations,

Few worthy match ups at this point in the final regular season weekend,, I'm not even sure who/if they had a game scheduled,

Just seems like cancelling a game, is a sure sign of Hell is on the way.

Figured you 'fans', would enjoy in this news.......
I'll buy a keg or two and throw a block party when the NFL folds, just to celebrate the power of the good inhabitants of Flyover country.

I'm sort of glad the NFL made this call. I'll be at Panthers v Falcons and I like the idea of NO and TB playing at the same time..
CNN
They rearranged the starting times so that all games with playoff implications would be played during the 4:30 time slot. All games are being played, just at different times

Did the league let the Browns officially claim Erin Rodgers yet?

Maybe if it's the bad weather they're worried about, they can play some of the games in Green Bay on that nice heated field....The Heated Tundra of Lambeau Field.

NYH1.
I wish they'd cancel the entire season.
Does anyone care? I think the time slot competes with the tella tuby marithon anyway.
I'm fervently hoping the Superbowl tanks, ain't even listened to the Spurs either since Coach Popovtich started running his mouth.

Yankees
One has to be careful about where to attend. I think I'm pretty safe from kneelers at this venue knowing how rank this crowd is.

That's twice now.

Just once more before the cock crows at Lambeau...

He's trying to imply that the Browns could claim Rodgers on waivers due to a technicality with the IR designation...he probably also thinks that it's Roy Rodgers they are getting...
I thought he wasn’t talking about Erin Andrews. It’s just as likely she’ll end up on the Brown’s roster.
I got her roster...right here.

No one wants to watch the communist kneeling black pampers any more. When Denver kneeled this year they became the denver donkeys to me. I switched the channel and have not watched a MFL game since. When the Broncos took a knee, they were dead to me!
Precisely, there is no boycott in my house since I will not be going back. The NFL Is dead to me also!
i grew up not too far from Lambeau field

I used to dress up as Bart Starr for halloween in the early 70's

As a combat vet I saw that Aaron Rogers really screwed the pooch when he embraced the racist PC thug culture of the NFL. Many fans in the Packerland in Wisconsin saw this coward for who he really is this year.

let the [bleep] play for the loser thug browns

The kneelers won't be on my TV ever again and haven't been at all this season. I've been a 49'res fan for 61 years, but they can KMA, along with the rest of the league.

Anyone who watches them with their kids is teaching the kids the wrong lessons.

Says the guy who also hates Ruger for political reasons but will admit to wearing and buying Levi's because they fit well....

I just can't make those 2 stances jive....

this is a good move, making all teams with playoff implications actually play to win.

I know soccer isn't big around here, but the English Premier League does it right. Last day of the season (no playoffs, you play everyone twice, team at the top is champ). On the last day, every game goes off at the same time. That way if you have a shot at the top, or from being at hte bottom and kicked out of the league, it's in your hands, you have to win.
NFL??
What is this?
That's "lying racist PC thug culture of the NFL".
